Ruin The Friendship & Only Forever theory - Nick Jonas // Nemi

I was frustrated with a certain situation,” Lovato told the Vice affiliate. “And I was like, ‘You know what, I’m just going to write about it.’ And so I did, and sent [the songs] to that person, and that was … Interesting. Any time you send a song about the person to the person — it’s ballsy. It’s like, ‘Hey! Here’s my feelings for you!’”Added Lovato: “They knew [about my feelings], but neither of us had acknowledged [them] before. And then it turned out that person had written a song about me, and we exchanged songs. … That person was like, ‘That’s an incredible song.’ And I was like, ‘Yeah, well. It’s like, ‘Hel-lo!’”

Fame is weird, but I manipulate it for the better. I see some artists that don’t say anything because they want to be politically correct. It’s frustrating because they have the ability to reach millions of people and do something good, rather than not saying anything. We already are in a very narcissistic career – ‘look at me, look at me’. I use that as a way to use my voice for more than just singing. If you are not using your voice and not standing up for the things you believe in, and not being vocal about certain topics, then you’re just basking in the glory of a very egotistical career.
