Watch on

Wa ha ha ha. Now then, here we go. I figure I’m making up for last three super-late posts.

Kaikhosru Sorabji is probably my favourite composer. With a name like that, you know he’s got to be good. His works bring all sorts of colours into my mind, and I’m not even a synæsthete. Red, yellow, cyan, even ultraviolet, and I’m not even a tetrachromat. A lot of people don’t like Sorabji - to them, he’s too atonal and complicated. Myself, I think his music is beautiful. This is Djamî, one of his nocturnes. It’s really long, so I only linked to the first part. You can go find the other parts of the piece, and I suggest you do - it’ll bring all sorts of colours into your mind too.

Go listen to it now.
