responsibility for the all the actions you make consciously
and all the missteps that will follow you and all the friends you thought were yours
you know they’ll cut your throat in time
it’s one way to get by.
This is the crowd we played to at our very first show. I can’t say our set was that great, but I think having your first show be full of mistakes in front of 200 people might be the best way to start out. We can only go up from here, and learning that it didn’t make me want to shrink away and quit means that I’m only more excited to keep going. We couldn’t have asked for a more supportive audience, a more supportive environment, or better people to play our first show with. Last night it felt like we really were all in it together.
