DIY (super easy) Christmas Wrapping

With the stress of last minute shopping the last thing I want to do is spend unnecessary time wrapping them, but at the same time I don’t like the generic paper sold these days. This (super easy) wrapping idea keeps things simple while remaining personal and completely customisable. I’ve chosen a glittered gold star as my “shining” item but you can use baubles, candy canes or any other ornament you wish. Read on to see how.

What You’ll Need:

• Brown (craft) paper

• String

• Star ornament (or item of your choice)

not shown:

• Gift tape

• Scissors

How To:

1. Start by placing the gift on top of the string. Now pull the string from under the star through a hole on the side.’

2. Bring the ends of the string around the gift and twist the ends around one another to create a “t” shape.

3. Using two hands, pull of the two loose ends of the string, adjusting as you tighten. I adjusted my string to the left making my star sit on the top left of the gift. Flip the gift to the back and stick down any loose string with tape.
