I’ve been working on the mala for years and just took some time to finish it this weekend! The 63 beads are the pits from Saturn peaches I picked off of my favorite tree from my last job.
I ate every peach.
This video was filmed in the desert climate of Cairo, Egypt where water vapor is surely not as plentiful as many other regions and cities. If it can work there, it can most likely work where you are as well. This could easily be scaled up to provide more water. Also something to consider would be multiple units side by side to save space and provide a greater amount of water catching capacity. If the units were linked together into a single water pipe and run to a large holding tank, this would be an efficient means of collecting atmospheric water without the need for electricity. Water should be filtered before drinking as mentioned in the video or run through a solar still.
I made these cute little paper houses,added a desert background, starry night sky, moon and cactus… Inspired by the many years I lived in Arizona…. at first I hated it but then it became a huge part of me…
continuing work on my set of arizona vacation inspired stamps (which will eventually be used for a zine i think) … cactus, spanish mission, desert birds… and then i can’t help myself but it had to have a skeleton too.. so there you go.

these are super yummy, easy and clean! they’re a little time consuming, so if you want to eat these for breakfast, i suggest making them the night before and microwaving them for 10-15 seconds. courtesy of bloglilates. :) these were so delicious and guiltless! i hope you can try these out!
what you will need!
a frying pan
1 banana (make sure they’re ripe.)
1/3 cup of oats
¼ cup of almond milk
1 tablespoon of cinnamon
and fillings for your crepes!
1.) take your all your dry ingredients and blend them until they make a fine powder.
2.) cut your banana in half and chop it into slices. (you’ll use the other half for your filling) then take all your wet ingredients, put it in the blender. blend until all are mixed together.
3.) put your frying pan on the stove on medium-low heat.
4.) spray your pan with the cooking spray, place the batter in the pan and circle it around until it is round and thin.
5.) when it starts to bubble, you’ll know it’s ready to flip. place on a plate when done. this mixture makes about three-four crepes.
6.) fill in your crepes! when you’re done filling, take both sides of the crepes and fold them in to hold in the fillings, then flip it over.
now you’re done!
i made these for my aunt and uncle, but i had other two for breakfast. ;) they’re so delicious and healthy! it does take practice to make them into a perfect circle, though. LOL some of them were really ugly, but its okay, they looked nice wrapped up. these could be for breakfast, desert.. or even lunch! aha, it’s worth trying out! good luck!!
