you forget that you do choose your life and there are so many things to be grateful for and I feel like society has gotten to that point where we’re always looking for the next and the better and we lose sight of what’s actually in front of us. - shailene woodley
“In my opionion, despite his small role in the movies, Jai totally stole the show from the lead actors. That’s why so many people like Eric. He made the unlikable character likable and completely nailed the role. Hats off to him. It’s not an easy task to make people love a villain.”
Just days earlier, Teller took a personal step into adulthood that mirrors his professional one: he bought his first home. “I
just moved, so this was the only shirt I could find,” Teller says,
tugging apologetically at his tee. “I thought I was going to have to
wear my wardrobe from Rabbit Hole,” he continues, explaining
how one of the only boxes of clothing he found in his moving debris
contained outfits from his first-ever film—the 2010 indie
starring Nicole Kidman and Aaron Eckhart. Realistically,
Teller probably could have bought a home a few years earlier—but he was
holding off until he paid off his parents’ mortgage. To celebrate the
milestone, Teller flew back to his childhood house in the 140,000-person
town of Citrus County, Florida. His family gathered on the doorstep and
lit the mortgage paperwork on fire.

My family isn’t proud of me because my pictures are on a billboard or that I’m on television. They are proud of me because I did it on my own and on my terms. Of course when I was younger my parents were weary about me leaving home and going out on my own, but I knew it was something I had to do for myself.
