Max had asked you to go and get some sensitive documents for him, so you had to walk all the way down to the basement. Things like that were kept in a locked room, only accessible by leaders or people who had the required authorization.
You unlocked the room with a key card and nodded in Eric’s direction when you saw him, searching for something as well.
“Hey Eric do you know where…” The lights suddenly went out and you heard the door closing with a loud bang, the lock clicking to shut the room, preventing anyone from getting in…or out.
You ran over to the door pulling and kicking at it in a futile attempt to get it open. You turn around and lean against the cold metal door, your breathing becoming heavier.
“It’s just a blackout, happens all the time down here. It will be fixed soon but kicking the door won’t help.” He steps closer to you and presses you against the wall with his body, running his fingers along your cheeks.
“Please step away from me.”
“You’re not that shy normally.” He says with amusement in his voice.
“I’m no being shy just please…” Your voice is cracking and you grip the door handle tightly.
He takes a step back in confusion, giving you some space, “ Are you having a panic attack?” He finally asks, realizing what’s going on.
“N-no.” You stutter out.
“Y/N…” Eric says with a sigh and pulls you slowly against his chest. You grab his shirt and bury your face against it, closing your eyes and concentration on your breathing while Eric moves his hands in small circles on your back to calm you down.
The lights go back on and you quickly sprint out of the room, happily leaning against a wall in the open halls.
“Don’t you dare tell anyone!” You say as you appear back in the door frame, making Eric roll his eyes at you, “Oh and Max needs this as soon as possible.” You hand him a note with the file number and run along.
“Hey wait that’s not my job!…Damn it.”
