I’d like to say “thank you” to people who liked or reblogged my post
The one about Bumbleby foreshadowing. I really appreciate it. It really grinds my gears to see Bee shippers ground down by anti-Bee hate until they start to lose their faith, and it hurts to see Bee shippers stuck in the “but we queers don’t get nice things” muck (and it’s easy to feel that way; I still feel it gnawing at me sometimes). It makes me happy that I can open eyes to the light of Beesus and bring hope to dispirited Bee shippers, and seeing the hope that others have gives me more hope, too. Yesterday was a good day.
Also I loved reading the comments and tags attached to the reblogs; I love the part of introducing the uninitiated into the Bumbleby mysteries where their mind just starts to explode, and getting to do it to a whole bunch of people at once was great! Thank you all so much. <3
But as hard as it is, I do want to counsel patience. It’s hard, given that it’s been over eight months since the very blatant Adam confrontation that put Bee-shipper hearts on edge (and, I will say again, turned some of us, like me, into Bee shippers for the first time), and there’s been a fair bit of Bumbleby-teasing over the summer. But at the same time, it hasn’t even been three whole episodes yet; the CRWBY has scarcely even had the opportunity to follow up. And now Blake and Yang are in different parts of the world, on different journeys of their own, and we don’t know when they’ll reunite or when they’ll reconcile. As much as waiting hurts, the odds are stacked against Bumbleby sailing in V4. But we may yet see them dealing with their feelings about each other as part of their individual journeys, and I really hope that we do get romantic interest confirmed on the part of at least one of them (since we’ve seen “confirm interest on one side long before the ship sails” used before). That would make waiting for the arc to take its full course much easier to bear.
But until then, KEEP CALM and SHIP BUMBLEBY.
