FRIENDLY REMINDER TO SUPPORT MIRACULOUS LADYBUG BY WATCHING AS IT AIRS IN YOUR OWN COUNTRY

Even if you’ve already seen the episodes through ahem unofficial means. There’s technically nothing harmful about that unless it means you’re not supporting the official releases.

Broadcasters like Disney or streaming services like Netflix need to know there’s still a demand for ML so they’ll buy more seasons. Aside from buying merch, watching the official releases is the only way fans can help save ML from an untimely cancellation.

So QUICK reminder:

  • France - TFOU (OCT 26)
  • US - Netflix (DEC)
  • UK - Disney (NOV)
  • Italy - Disney (FALL)
  • Brazil - Gloob (NOV 3)
  • Germany - Disney (NOV 17)
  • Portugal - Disney (FALL)
  • Spain - Disney (FALL)

These are just the countries and stations I KNOW and have seen news about, so don’t worry if you don’t see your country on here. ML airs in like 20 countries lol.

Okay, you see this? These are jacket cover/inside cover of a book called “The Beast Within” written by Serena Valentino, who wrote other Disney books that are so amazing. I purchased her first Disney book in the Germany Pavilion in Epcot a few years ago and have bought every other book of hers since. But lemme tell you why this one is my favorite:

Not only is “Beauty and the Beast” one of my favorite films of all time, but the Beast is one of my favorite characters in any film. And this book makes him seem so much more understandable. It’s written in his perspective and there’s literally a scene where he’s so close to being an actual monster that he goes out to kill Belle after she runs away from him.

Did you hear me?

HE GOES TO KILL BELLE.

Of course, he fights the wolves that attack her because in his mind, he’s like “wait I can redeem my human status still” while the beast side is literally chanting “RIP THE FLESH OPEN AND SPILL HER BLOOD EVERYWHERE ALL OVER THE SNOW COVERED GROUND”.

Let me tell you, this book is so good. And it gives more backstory to Gaston (who is, as you guessed, one of my favorite Disney villains).

If you enjoyed the 2017 version of “Beauty and the Beast”, you’ll enjoy this book. It’s different than the film, but just as good, in my opinion.

Ok I'm just a bit confused about when the dub episodes are going to be available, until December on Netflix? the episodes are not going be transmitted by Disney before the release on Netflix?

Release date time!

  • 23rd October - Disney Channel Spain (Spanish / potential English)
In Spain, Disney do upload their episodes to the website. They used to have dual audio with English, however I am not sure if this feature is now gone. They’re also subtitled in Spanish too, on their website.
  • 26th October - Tfou (French only)
We will be subbing this into English, however it may take slightly longer than usual due to me (Alice) being at Comic Con and I have to time as Abbey has an exam when it airs. Spacey also has work that day and cannot take the day off unlike Rita who is very dedicated for this release…
  • November - Disney Channel UK (English)
You have the fabulous me who can very quickly rip the episodes and upload them in 480i. Because I am so kind, I have gone and brought an Elgato Game Capture Card HD60 and a HDMI switch box so the episodes can then be captured in 1080i. I did some maths, you now own me 195 packets of Oreos because the money could have gone there.
  • November - Disney Channel Italia (Italian)
    I miss Alex & Co…
  • 3rd November - Gloob (Brazilian Portuguese)
I get this is no longer English dub or sub, but I know some people probably want a list of dates at this point.
  • 17th November - Disney Channel Germany (German)
Fun fact, Disney Channel is free to view in Germany with episodes available on their website, no login required.
  • December 2017 - Netflix US (English / potential other languages)
Honestly I debate if this will even happen at this rate, all 13 episodes would be required to be finished for a start. Then Netflix need to outsource the subtitling and if they are going to include other languages for dubs and subs, they need to be timed.

TL;DR: Disney Europe shall be showing English dub episodes before Netflix in the US. The only thing holding back a UK release is The Lodge Season 2, as that has the current new release timeslot.

There are probably more release dates out there, but that is all I have bothered to keep track of as those are the main ones that interest me :)

Library of St. Peter Abbey, Black Forest, Germany

This is no computer simulation; definitely not a Disney movie prop!

In Germany, the Library of Abbey of Saint Peter monastery has the idyllic atmosphere. Built using racoco style, it houses hundreds of old books in hardbound, paintings, and sculptures which guard this magnificent part of the monastery.
