I’ll Be There


AN: Happy Lowman Imagine #1. Might make this a part two. This has violence.

Happy being a killer didn’t bother me at all. I fell in love with him because he was funny, smart and always kind to me. I first met him in 1998 when my brother, who was a member of the Charming charter, introduced me to him at a club party. We began a relationship and two years later, in July, we had a son that we named Tyler Michael Lowman.

At first, everything seemed okay. Happy would come home and show us love. Then, slowly, he became distant. He became more engrossed in the club than his own family. In 2002, we broke apart and I ended up taking Tyler back to Charming. We moved into a small house that was close to the SAMCRO clubhouse. Gemma, my mother, let me work in the office at the garage. Jackson, my brother, knew what  had happened between Happy and I. He could tell that I was hurt. I was 22 with a young child. I had to remain strong for my son.

I woke to the sound of glass shattering. I shot up and walked out of my bedroom, searching for the source of the noise. I thought maybe Tyler  had dropped a glass or something. When I stepped into the kitchen, I couldn’t believe my eyes. A man had a gun on my son. Tears were running down Tyler’s face. The man had him on the floor and was looking directly at me.
