First Look: The Ferrari 812 Superfast

Ferrari has selected the 87th edition of the Geneva International Motor Show for the world premiere of the new 12-cylinder berlinetta, the 812 Superfast, the most powerful and fastest Ferrari in the marque’s history.

This new car not only introduces a plethora of innovative features but is also particularly significant as the V12 series marked the official start of the glorious Prancing Horse story in 1947, 70 years ago this year.

The 812 Superfast thus ushers in a new era in Ferrari 12-cylinder history, in doing so building on the invaluable legacies of the F12berlinetta and F12tdf. It is aimed at clients demanding the most powerful and exclusive Ferrari in the range: an uncompromising sports car that will deliver exhilarating driving both on road and track yet also be comfortable enough to allow its owners to enjoy it as an all-round experience.

Nitroglycerin

Everyone knows nitroglycerin for its explosive properties, and that’s the main aspect of Bakugou’s quirk - he secretes it and ignites it. Boom!

But did you know it has medical uses too? You can get dosed via aerosol, direct injection, orally or even absorb it through your skin.

A rapid dose is used to relieve heart attack symptoms

It can be used to lower blood pressure and there is tentative evidence that it accelerates soft tissue repair and can be used in pain management.

In higher concentrations over a longer period it can cause problems - lowering blood pressure too far is the main one, but it can also cause sudden intense headaches, dizziness and elevated heart rate.

People become resistant pretty quick, but can also become dependant so withdrawal causes blood pressure to rise. People working with it regularly gain some tolerance from exposure but can lose it over the weekend and experience the same sickness every time they come in to work on a monday.

All of which leads me to a few interesting ideas about Bakugou

a) He totally knows this shit, although he may not have before UA, and thoroughly researched heart attack symptoms so he knows what to look for. He’s not entirely sure how he’ll deliver the dose but figures if someone’s having a heart attack in front of him he’ll be sweaty enough that he can do something if he can get to them - even if that something is sticking his fingers in their mouth.

b) As well as the increased sturdiness we know about, his hands heal unusually fast and have reduced pain sensitivity, which is handy since he sets off explosions with them.

c) He can give people ice-pick headaches if he wants to drop them without a boom, or drop an opponent’s blood pressure enough to make them slower or less coordinated

d) He won’t go anywhere like a sauna with his friends and wears absorbent pads on hot days, because an accidental dose would be a super bad idea and he can’t just keep igniting to burn it off.

Hyundai Teases 2018 Azera | Rationally Emotional! | Luxury Sport/Sedan Car News | Follow for more

Hyundai has published a set of teaser sketches to preview the all-new 2018 Azera.

The sketches suggest the sixth-generation Azera looks sharper and more upscale than the model currently found in showrooms. Its front end falls in line with the design language introduced by the i30 hatchback last month, while its rear end receives thin LED headlights connected by a light bar. Teaser sketches usually don’t tell the full story, so the production model might end up looking a lot less muscular when it lands.

Technical specifications haven’t been published yet. However, the Azera could surf the industry’s downsizing wave and come standard with a turbocharged four-cylinder engine. A re-worked version of the current model’s direct-injected 3.3-liter V6 engine will be offered at an extra cost, and front-wheel drive will be the only configuration available regardless of how many cylinders are under the hood.

The new Hyundai Azera will go on sale in South Korea next month, but it’s too early to tell when we’ll see the U.S.-spec model. It could debut next month during the Los Angeles Auto Show, but the company has a history of showing new models in its home country well before they make they’re introduced on our shores.

│ Quick Fix │Quick Fix II

You were waiting for your client to pick up his car, and then you were free for the day . Usually, you’d just look forward to a nice evening with a hot bath and a good book. But somehow Dean managed to convince you into going out to dinner with him.

You looked up only to have your gaze met by Dean. “Why are you still staring at me?” you sighed. It seemed like everytime you looked up, your eyes met with his. “I know I’m a little dirty. But you try working under a car for eight hours alright?

He smirked "I’m just in shock at how stunning you look even with oil on your face.”

You scoffed, biting back a smile. “You gotta do better than that Lover Boy” Honestly you’ve grown to like his little pickup lines, but you’d never give him the satisfaction of knowing that.

“Well, what I’m doing is working to some degree because we are going out to dinner. Again.” he winked.

You grinned before sipping your coffee. He had a point. As much as you fought it, even you had to admit. He was wearing you down. He was at your job almost every day. And who were you to turn down some good company and a cup of coffee?

“Finally.” you stood up seeing Hep make his way over. “I’ve been waiting all day.”

Send the Pain Below Masterlist

Jensen rushed through the double doors of the Emergency Room and ran past the front desk, being grabbed by security when he tried to enter the treatment area. He had to get to you. That was the only thing he could focus on. He tried to fight them off, barely in control of his own body, running on pure instinct. “She could be dead, don’t you get it!” He yelled at one of the guards who held him back. “She could be dead!”

“I got him.” Clif’s gruff voice caught Jensen’s attention and he turned to face it, Clif grabbing both of Jensen’s arms and leading him away. “You are no good to her if you get yourself arrested!”

“I need to hold her! I need to be with her! She needs me!” He protested, breaking free of Clif who grabbed him again and pulled him into a private waiting room, slamming the door shut.

The Entry-level Turbocharged 4-cylinder Porsche Macan

Porsche is extending its line-up of compact SUVs by adding the new Macan entry-level model. Power plant of Axis Forces

The Daimler Benz 600 were 12-cylinder liquid-cooled inverted V engines. Unlike carbureted engines like the Rolls Royce Merlins, the DB 600 series’ direct fuel injection allowed the airframes they powered (primarily the Me109) to avoid stalling during manovers which produced negative G-forces. The DB 605 entered service in 1942. Approximately 42,400 DB 605s of all kinds were built
