Title: Friend Shaped Summary: Whatever Dipper had thought that summoning spell would result in, that wasn’t it. Characters: Dipper Pines, Mabel Pines, Bill Cipher Rating: K
A/N: this one is for
@skypher-drabbles - the request was Liam intreracting with the Pines kids (and being happy). This scenario was fun to come up with. Hope you like it and thanks again for your charity donation! (This is pretty much based on Flat Dreams and won’t make much sense if you haven’t read it.)
To be completely, a hundred percent, absolutely honest, Dipper hadn’t thought that whole summoning thing could actually work.
He had sort of hoped it would, of course, or at least that something would happen so that he wouldn’t look like a complete idiot. He had also fervently hoped that, should it work - unlikely but not impossible, because he firmly believed nothing was - he would wind up summoning something that was… not too dangerous. Like maybe a pixie, or a fairy, or a leprechaun, or a gremlin they could put in a cage - just possibly not a demon. Please, anything but a demon.
He really didn’t want to have to tell his parents he had summoned Beelzebub or Lucifer or something in the living room while they were out for dinner. They’d ground him for life and then a little past that.
So I was literally inspired late last night to make this, and now I have a complete song.
Here’s a little sample of my samples while I make a visualizer and an album cover.
The banjo is chopped from Soos and the Real Girl from when GIffany takes control of the animatronics. The guitar is taken from The Love God and the clap is actually a sample of McGucket’s hamboning in Society of the Blind Eye. Theres also a bit of The Hand that Rocks the Mabel at the end, replacing reversed cymbal.
A red and white blur ran down the hall of the house chanting over and over again the word ‘No’. A mad was chasing after the small blur with an exasperated expression. Dipper Pines had not thought twice in the idea to take custody of his great nephews when he heard the situation they were in. They had been so small and mild then now, at the age of five, the twins were turning into a handful.
Stanford sat on the steps and watched his brother get chased around by his Great Uncle. The child already had his X-Men back-pack on and was ready to head out to their first day of school.
In a well timed move to help the older man he put out his hand and grabbed his brother’s shirt as he tired to run by. The child that had been running got yanked back and fell down to the wooden floor with a thud.
Before Stan could even try to get up he was picked up by his uncle.
“Yes,” Dipper chuckled, “You have to go to school.”
“I don’t wanna,” Stanley whined and leaned back in the hold so he was dangling upside-down.
“Daw, Dipper does he have to go?”
The new voice made all three of them look over towards the door. The two smaller twins lighting up like a Christmas tree seeing the woman standing their.
“Grauntie Mabel!” Ford jumped up from his seat on the bottom step and ran over to hug the woman’s leg. “What are you doin’ here?”
Mabel chuckled and ruffled the boy’s hair, “You think I would miss your first day of school? I need to preserve everything while you two are still midgets.”
“We ain’t midgets,” Stan called from Dipper’s arms, “You’re just a giant.”
Dipepr chuckled and moved over to hug his sister with the arm he had free.
“I am glad you came, Mabel,” he said with a smile. His sister was a little better at getting Stan to listen.
Mabel crushed both her brother and nephew in the hug before stepping back the best she could with a child attache to her leg.
“Aw, I wouldn’t miss this for the world,” she chuckled and took Stanley from Dipper’s arms. “Now, let us get that cool Batman back-pack I got you.”
“And the cape-shirt?” Stan smiled innocently at his aunt with hope in his small eyes.
“Why of course!” Mabel laughed, “It would be silly of you not to wear it.”
