didn't really do the movie justice

Welp. We went to see Wonder Woman. I cried during the sad parts and some of the other parts. They were the same kind of tears I had on and off through Ghostbusters. Movies with strong women who are fully realized people who are allowed to be sexual but are not sexualized and can also kick ass just make me cry randomly. Though TBH I also cry in LotR when anyone picks up their sword and runs into battle screaming the name of their home. I didn’t even realize how ravenous I was for a female version of that.

Hey, to all the people who think the “Do you bleed? You will.” line is cheesy

like this is batman we’re talking about aka the biggest drama queen in the world

do i have to remind you of “we both looked into the abyss; the only difference is  you blinked.”

or "Criminals are a superstitious cowardly lot. So my disguise must be able to strike terror into their hearts. I must be a creature of the night, black, terrible, a … a …A bat! That’s it! It’s an omen. I shall become a bat!“

or even the classic “i am vengeance. i am the night. i am batman.”

so i really don’t know what you expected.

so I guess you'd agree that the movies didn't do Fili justice?

Well… yes and no.

There undoubtedly is very little Fíli in the movies, while Kíli seems to hold his ridiculously cute face into the camera every five minutes. And it really did piss me off during AUJ and DOS and it partially pissed me off during BOTFA too but…

Every scene with Fíli in it has an amazing significance, either to the plot, the relationship with other characters, or Fíli’s personality generally. There might be more scenes with Kíli but most of them are pretty meaningless. And I don’t mean to belittle Kíli in any way, I love that little idiot just as much.

Let’s have a Read More due to spoilers again, shall we.
