Yesterday, my work was installed in my school gallery for our senior thesis. It was based around the LGBTQ+ community and getting to know these people on an intimate level. It was accompanied by my book “Let’s get one thing straight: I’m not”. The support I received from family, friends, students, teachers, and other artists was overwhelming and heart warming! My book is a temporary dictionary of LGBTQ+ terminology juxtaposed with some photos that didn’t make it into the show and is on sale! For more information, please contact me at email@example.com!
Frederick McSwain created DIE, a portrait made with dice in memory of his friend, Tobias Wong, a designer who died last year. McSwain used 13,138 dice, one for each day Tobias lived. DIE was on display at Gallery R'Pure in New York City.
