“Old enough to know better, pissed off enough not to care.”
“I don’t suffer from my insanity, I enjoy every minute of it.”
“The truth is always simple, but the path to it is overgrown with thorns and lined with traps.”
“There’s and an enemy inside all of us, ____, that wants to do us harm. It hates us passionately, and it wears us down with echoing insults we can’t escape.”
“Life isn’t about finding shelter from the storm. It’s about learning to dance in the rain.”
“Just because you can, doesn’t mean you should.”
“There are three sides to every story. Yours. Theirs. And the truth that isn’t clouded by human emotions that filter everything.”
“Everyone suffers at least one bad betrayal in their lifetime. It’s what unites us. The trick is not to let it destroy your trust in others when that happens. Don’t let them take that from you.”
“We’re not the damned, folks, we’re the categorically fucked. ”
“Discretion is easy. It’s finding the courage to forgive yourself and others that is hard.”
“You know, I would date, if I could find a man worth shaving my legs for.”
“Yeah, we’re family. Psychotic, bizarre, and a hodgepodge of personalities that should probably never be blended, but here we are.”
“Knowledge is power. The problem today is that way too many people are choosing to fight that power.”
“Baby, I hate everyone.”
“I don’t know, I hear some god awful music from outside, horns blaring, and I’m in a house with a Mowhawk cuckoo bird, a transvestite, and a knife wielding lunatic.”
“Like a wombat in a cornfield. See, you’re not the only one who can throw together random words that make no sense and use them in a sentence.”
“You can blame it all on fate and the universe, but in the end YOU alone decide if you’re going to stand strong in defiance of it all with your middle finger raised.”
“I have found my star. She is beauty and grace. Elegance and goodness. My laughter in winter. She is courageous and strong. Bold and tempting. Unlike any other in all the universe, and I cannot touch her. I dare not even try.”
“No, that title actually belongs to a woman. You can’t miss her. She’s tall, blond, and looks really pissed off ninety-five percent of the time.”
“Sometimes things have to go wrong in order to go right.”
“Get thee behind me, bitches.”
“The most beautiful heart of all is the one that can still love even while it bleeds, and especially after its been broken into thousands of pieces.”
“It takes great courage and heart for a man who knows no kindness to show it to another.”
“Life isn’t a puzzle to be solved. It’s an adventure to be savored. Let every challenge be a new mountain to climb, not an obstacle to get in your way and stop you.”
“Life is an adventure. It’s thrilling and scary. Sometimes it’s even a bit boring, but it should never be serious.”
“I learned a long time ago not to judge people by what they look like, sound like, or by the clothes they wear. Just because a house is nice and shiny out front doesn’t mean it’s not rotting on the inside.”
“You’re selfish and you’re cold, and I’m tired of getting frostbite when I touch you.”
It was intentional, and Derek knows that very well. “Come on.” Derek says, his voice steady. Even more determined than before. “Where?” Stiles asks, they could hear the surprisement in his voice. Yup, he thought that was it and they’re gonna move on, maybe laugh about it in some months. “We’re going to bang.” “What?!” Scott and Isaac are staring at Derek with wide eyes. “Yes, you heard it correctly.” The man grabs Stiles’ arm, pulling him out of the vet’s place. “I know what you want, Stiles.” “Where are we going?” “To my loft. You’re going to get what you asked for.”
For November, I’ve picked out 30 of my favourite video game characters, and then mixed them up with a randomiser - I’ll be drawing each character in their randomly-selected counterpart’s costume.
Today’s character is Elizabeth, from Bioshock: Infinite, and she’s dressed as Daud from Dishonored. I did her Burial At Sea version, because I’m pretty sure she’s the one more likely to become the head of a gang of assassins.
Anyone who has spent five seconds around me ever:

Ceiling Dom is just one of those weird and random things in the Muse fandom that was produced by an unknown member at Muse’s forum and it’s been around for aaages and there’s no excuse for it and it’s just.. yeah.. here you go
Fun fact: About 6-7 years ago I got very very drunk one night and I actually printed this fucker out and taped it to my ceiling. You can imagine my surprise when I woke up in the morning to find this creepy peeping-tom of a fucker staring down at me. And being the lazy tosser that I am I couldn’t be bothered to take it down and so it was there for about 2-3 years until it just gave in and fell down on its own.
And yes, it reallydoes follow you around the room. No matter where you stood in my room he would be there, staring back at you *nostalgic shudder*. Ceiling Dom is watching. always.
but they were not living, harry thought: they were gone. the empty words could not disguise the fact that his parents’ mouldering remains lay beneath snow and stone, indifferent, unknowing. and tears came before he could stop them, boiling hot and then instantly freezing on his face, and what was the point in wiping them off, or pretending? he let them fall, his lips pressed hard together, looking down at the thick snow hiding from his eyes the place where the last of lily and james lay, bones now, surely, or dust, not knowing or caring that their living son stood so near, his heart still beating, alive because of their sacrifice and close to wishing, at this moment, that he was sleeping under the snow with them.
