the Until Dawn fandom may have been short-lived but it had its share of wild discourse
-people wanting to fuck the wendigos
-no one being able to tell if the wendigo fuckers were genuine or just messing around; people who actually did want to fuck them blending in with the “ironic wendigo fuckers” as a form of Sin Camouflage
-the whole “if Ashley says she regrets the prank her honesty goes down” (false) rumor that I accidentally catapulted into the spotlight bc I saw some rando say that in a comment chain on a random youtube video and I took it as gospel and posted it here, and now to this day I see it pop up all throughout the internet from tumblr posts to reddit threads to fucking facebook comments on Supermassive’s FB page (I regret everything I’m so sorry Ashley)
-MRAs rallying behind Emily because they thought feminists hated her for being a feminist stereotype so they rushed to her defense (my personal favorite tbh)
-people creepily photoshopping Youtubers into the pause menu scenes so instead of one of the kids’ faces it was a gross closeup of some random dude; related, people writing “Youtube AUs” where they wrote 8 real life (99.999% of the time all dudes) youtube LPers into Until Dawn’s setting and shipped them creepily together and killed off their sisters or other female relatives in place of Hannah and Beth in the story
-also one time I saw someone crop out Emily and Matt’s heads in a vine to turn an Emmatt scene into shipping two white guy youtubers and hoo boy that was a day
-The Great Jemily Tag War of January 2016, where a bunch of random Criminal Minds fans staged a massive, one-sided assault on UD Jemily shippers for no reason other than “WE HAD THE NAME FIRST YOU DONT GET TO CALL UR SHIP THAT!!!”
-more Night at the Museum crossovers than any fandom should rightfully have
-Ashley slowly losing whatever canon identity she had and just becoming a fanon gross fucking mess who jacks it to gore and deep web hentai and everyone just accepts this interpretation of her
-related, the NSFW side of the fandom eventually just consuming the entire fandom at large and leaving it nothing but a wasteland of sin and depravity
An Exhaustive List of Domhnall Gleeson Films: What’s Worth Watching?
Since I’ve seen *almost* everything ol’ DG has appeared in, I thought I’d make a handy guide to what movies are actually worth seeing for those of you who want to see more of his stuff but don’t know where to start.
If you have questions about any of these movies, especially about potential triggers, please feel free to shoot me a message.
Worth Seeing Because It’s Good and He’s In A Lot of It
Black Mirror (TV Series, Season 2 Ep 1 “Be Right Back”)
Worth Seeing Because It’s Good and He’s in A Bit of It
Never Let Me Go
Happy Potter and the Deathly Hallows pts 1 & 2
Calvary (I’ll admit I haven’t seen all of it but it has great reviews and his scene is great)
“Hey, I’m Aaron Tveit, and we’re here in Brooklyn filming the Wicked studio sessions. There’re gonna be some really good songs from the show done in ways you haven’t seen before.” (x)
^ In case you hadn’t seen Aaron’s tweeted teaser! Then if by some strange chance you haven’t done so, check out the first video in the series - Out of Oz: Wicked Studio Sessions “Defying Gravity” - where he duets with Rachel Tucker. “Out of Oz” appears to exclusively be a web series at this point, so do make sure to hit up the official YouTube video to repay their work in views!
