devil of ramadi

Four years ago today, America lost a great warrior and hero. RIP Chris Kyle. You will never be forgotten! 2.2.13
“It was my duty to shoot the enemy, and I don’t regret it. My regrets are for the people I couldn’t save: Marines, soldiers, buddies. I’m not naive, and I don’t romanticize war. The worst moments of my life have come as a SEAL. But I can stand before God with a clear conscience about doing my job.”

How can you glorify and support murder?

Oh dear, well that story is a very long one, it starts with a villainous dragon and ends with a magical curse that plages the land via unicorns, poorly writen books, and bad coffee.

That said and all joking aside… what? I must assume you mean why do I support our troops and police officers because liberals and other forms of ignoramus often mislabel them as “murderers.” And you are probably also referring to my support for Chris “the devil of Ramadi” Kyle and his 160 confirmed kills. None of which has to do with murder, death yes, killing absolutely, but murder? Not even close.

You see you have been lead to (falsely) believe that all violence is bad, and that any kill is a murder. Even the courts of our fine land would disagree with you, allowing for killing and other forms of violence in defense of self and others. Which by any stretch of the imagination the vast majority of our police and military do. And is 100% what mr. Kyle did, saving hundreds if not thousands of American AND Iraqi lives. You see something that is also forgotten or glossed over is torture, honor killings, etc… that happen, and happened on the daily over their… we were for the most part very nice, well mannered guests in Iraq and Afghanistan. Yet for talking to us they (Al'queda and now ISIS) would torcher and murder your whole family… no amount of waterboarding comes close to that does it? So every time an ENEMY SOLDIER was killed lives were saved on BOTH sides. Thats not murder, the Samurai believed that the sword that stopped evil gave life…

Now those police and military that did, do, and have murdered… they got or will get theirs, and I do not support those actions. We were their to fight an enemy, I take issue with nobody but that enemy, anyone who does otherwise does so without my support or blessing.

I hope this has helped, but I fear none of this will sink in and you’ll be stuck chasing that cursed dragon from the first paragraph. Either way have a good day.

What do you think of the United States military? ;)

I love my brothers and sisters in each branch of our military. You however are after some fun facts about each. (Note that some of the info may be inaccurate or incomplete as I only have a working knowledge of the other branches)

United States Marine Corps - Semper Fidelis (Always Faithful)

Americas 9-11, no better friend no worse enemy, ever Marine a rifleman. The mission of a Marine Corps Rifle squad is : to locate, close with, and destroy the enemy, by fire and maneuver, or repel the enemy assault by fire and close combat. Renound for our Spec War programs including Recon, and Force Recon. WE ARE THE BEST OF THE BEST, we are the bad men on the walls protecting you from the boogieman.

United States Navy - Non sibi sed patriae (Not for Self but Country)

The largest navy in the world, 13 times larger than all our allies navies combined. With assets and bases around the world, the Navy is critical to our quick reaction to threats and conflicts anywhere in the globe. The Navy Seals are another proud naval tradition, Chris “the Devil of Ramadi” Kyle the American Sniper is a part of that proud tradition.

United States Army - This we’ll defend

The largest of the US Military branches, having even more planes than the US Air Force. The Army is involved in a friendly rivalry with the USMC, since they cover many of the same fields and operations. The US Army is known for special units like the Rangers, and the Green Berets.

United States Air Force -  Uno Ab Alto (one over all)

Originally the United States Army Air Corps, they eventually separated into their own branch of service to focus on Air operations. They are known for their Special Operations, Parajumpers specializing in downed pilot rescue.
