Sugar Baby Education 101: 7 Etiquette Habits

It is a big part of sugar baby’s lifestyle to be comfortable go out on dates with their SDs to high-end restaurants, opening galleries, charities, fundraisers, and balls. What most newbies do not know/lack is the proper etiquette habits.

For those men who surround themselves with successful people 24/7, would be a big turn off to be with a young lady who does not know how to behave and know the unspoken rules in the public. It is important for all sugar babies to know how to act classy and elegant, take your time, don’t be in a rush, be sophisticated and be a mystery for your SD.

When you are dating a millionaire, the right manners and ways of conducting yourself assume an even a greater importance since they indicate grooming and class – qualities which are important in the upper classes.

Here are a few tips on dating etiquette if you are seeing someone rich and successful and wish to come off as his/her ideal partner.

#1 How to Communicate

  • Not every thought that comes into your head should come out of your mouth. Vet your thoughts. Speaking your mind does not mean sharing every thought. Some thoughts are not appropriate and could cause irreparable damage to your relationships.
  • Never gossip. Most gossip is bad, negative and damages relationships.
  • Look everyone in the eye for no more than 5 seconds at a time, then divert your glance for another 5 seconds. Practice will turn this into a habit.
  • Make eye contact with people you speak with.
  • Never criticize, condemn or complain about anyone to another relationship. It’s a giant red flag. People will assume that you are bad mouthing them and will try to stay away from forming any strong relationships with you.

#2 Focus on your partner

When dating a rich man , it is important to let them know you value the time and effort your partner is spending on you. And one of the best ways to do this is by being attentive to your date. Maintain steady eye contact with him and listen actively to what he has to say. Smile often and present a positive body language. Also avoid fiddling with our phone (do not take pictures of the food, take snapchat of yourself, etc. do not present yourself as immature girl.). Unless you’re on call at a high-pressure job, you have no excuse for frequently checking your PDA. Flashing expensive technology makes you look self-absorbed and immature. If you must take a call or check a text, apologize for being rude, and tell your date why it’s necessary.

#3 Eating Etiquette

Believe it or not, most people don’t know how to eat. In the adult world of the successful, you need to know how to eat at social settings. Let’s go down the list:

  • As soon as you sit in your chair take the napkin off the table and drape it over your lap.
  • Never begin eating until everyone has their meal.
  • Never chew with your mouth opened.
  • Never talk while you’re chewing your food.
  • Never dip any food you’re eating into a sauce everyone is using.
  • Don’t wolf down your food. Eat at the same pace as everyone else at the table.
  • Never hold a spoon, fork or knife with your fist.
  • Outside fork is for salads, inside fork for the meal.
  • Never make gestures while your utensils are in your hands.
  • Never reach for anything like salt and pepper. Always ask someone to pass things like that.
  • Don’t slouch at the table. Sit straight up.
  • After the meal, excuse yourself and go to the bathroom and make sure you don’t have any food in your teeth. Carry a toothpick or something similar in your wallet or purse wherever you go.
  • If your date orders, compliment his choices, whether it is his choice of dessert or the wine. At the end of the dinner, thank your partner for inviting you out and don’t leave it for the next day.Focus

#4 Dress Etiquette

When dating a millionaire, it is crucial to turn out in a classy and elegant manner. Adopt a personal style which highlights your best features and above all, get the basics of grooming right. Even though you may not be able to afford a Louis Vuitton handbag or a Cartier watch, ensure that whatever you are wearing is suits you and is appropriate for the occasion.

  • Work and Job Interviews – Some professions have special purpose clothing like construction, roadwork, electricians etc. If you work in an office, dress like your boss or your boss’s boss. In some offices it’s business casual, in others, it’s a suit and tie for men. For women its slacks, or skirts with open collars, heels or no heels are ok.
  • Weddings, Wakes, Funerals –  In most cases, this will be suit and tie for men. For women, it’s the same as work clothes but many women like to wear more formal gowns or a more stylish cocktail dress, usually worn with heels. Some cultures have special dress codes you need to be aware of.
  • Formals – Usually formals are black tie optional, black tie or white tie for men. Optional usually means a dark suit, tie or black bow tie, dark shoes. Black tie means black tuxedo, dark shoes, white tie means black tailcoat, white wing-collar shirt, white bow tie, black shoes for men. For women, it’s a long formal gown or short cocktail dress or dressy long skirt and top, usually worn with heels. White ties are very rare.

#5 Introducing Yourself

In life, you will be forced into situations where you will meet new people. This is an opportunity to develop valuable relationships.

There are 5 basic rules to making introductions:

  • Smile
  • Firm Handshake
  • Make Eye Contact
  • In one sentence explain who you are, why you’re there and who you know at the event
  • Ask Questions About the Person You are Introducing Yourself to.

#6 Basic Manners

  • Yes
  • Please
  • Thank you
  • Be punctual (Being punctual is especially important when dating the rich since for them time is money, and as soon as they find you tardy, they will see you as a waste of time.)
  • Excuse me when interrupting or entering a conversation
  • Don’t interrupt someone while they are talking
  • Don’t roll your eyes when someone says something you disagree with
  • Don’t look away when someone is talking to you
  • Never check your cell phone when talking to someone
  • Stay positive and keep criticisms and negative comments to yourself
  • Compliment, compliment, compliment
  • Thank anyone hosting an event, dinner etc.
  • Never curse or use inappropriate language during social events
  • Never be rude

#7 Learn to handle embarrassing moments

No one is born with perfect manners and it is all a matter of practice. So while dating your SD if you realize that you have committed a faux pas, make as little of it as possible. Ignore whatever you did or didn’t do and force your mind onto something else. Go on smoothly as if nothing happened and very soon people around you will do the same.

Neptune eyes ~ real eyes realize real lies

Neptune’s placement in the natal chart suggests a space of life where we see what other people can’t. Our perception here is psychic and unifies with the whole cosmos. It could be where we behave unusually, creatively, or people comment that ‘I cant get through to you’. We deny logic and material experience where the Neptune mist blows. Something special is revealed to us, something inexplicable and enchanted. But Neptune can also tell us lies, whispering hollow promises, or staining consciousness with desires of escapism, substance indulgence, spiritual fanaticism, or sexual gratification. The music is here. It’s where other people are deaf. But it’s something you can hear. So sometimes we don’t talk about these things. Everybody will call us delusional. Here we are awake where other people are asleep.

Neptune in the 1st house: the self is cast in a divinely mystical light, but this is foggy, the sacredness of the self is elevated, the image of the self may be completely out of touch with reality

Neptune in the 2nd house: self worth may be fluctuating, at times intimately sensitive with all things, at others the separation and emptiness becomes a longing for material consumption, the individual can see opportunities for developing wealth that other people cannot

Neptune in the 3rd house: unspoken words of other people, and the messages of divine voices circulate in the mind. the individual learns in a very unusual way that may be difficult for educators to grasp. they are pulled between dimensions of consciousness, often seeming in a state of confusion, understanding the language of many things

Neptune in the 4th house: the messages of divine wisdom from the inner guides are projected in the outer world, it tends to be filled with psychic activity. there is an insatiable feeling of abandonment. the mother image is contained in fantasy here, she wanted goddess as her mother

Neptune in the 5th house: romance is the tea party of life. they are soaring on infinite melodies. they can perceive their own eternity when they are holding a baby. the inner child speaks the words of the holy cosmic child. life is an enchanted stage

Neptune in the 6th house: sacrifice feels sacred with neptune in the 6th. there are imaginary ailments and anxieties that other people cannot soothe. daily life is filled with hidden, although secret miracles. a perfectionism that is so threaded with idealism that could never materialize

Neptune in the 7th house: the eyes of god reflect through the faces of everybody they pass. divine light is cast over those in contact, this gives the individual a romantic and kind view of the world. there may be betrayal because the individual idealises people so richly

Neptune in the 8th house: the perception for the spirit world and the dead is active, the individual may be a medium or be frequently visited by ghosts. there are feelings of abandonment and distrust in the self that become projected onto others, the individual imagines people to be more deceitful than they are

Neptune in the 9th house: sinking into spiritual symbolism and longings to create intimacy with the divine. indulging in many esoteric pursuits becomes the voyage of life. there may be religious fanaticism or complete separation from spiritual awareness

Neptune in the 10th house: the profession is an ideal and the person secretly longs to heal humanity in godly way, out of touch with what is humanly capable. it may be difficult for the person to decide upon a career because the dream is always calling in many directions

Neptune in the 11th house: friendships serve as a source of spiritual energy for the person. they can see collective humanity dancing in unity, friends make them feel at one with god. this person feels the injustice of the world on an intense degree

Neptune in the 12th house: the inner world calls with a honey voice of seduction, promising a source of comfort if only the individual would withdraw completely and lose touch with the world. the feeling of spiritual discontent seems impossible to satisfy

I’ve seen another friend on here lose control over, and credit for, some writing they did that went hyper-viral. Their work blew up and crossed over into Twitter, where it was attributed to the wrong person ad nauseam. and it really hurt that person deeply. They spent a ton of time and energy trying to get the credit they deserved. and because their work was floating around unattributed, they lost significant marketing and professional development opportunities. I don’t ever want to see that happen to a friend again. Or to anyone.

Give people credit for their creations. Never divorce the content from the attribution. Always provide a link to the source. Hard-working people create the content you enjoy.

Applying to a German University

Have you ever wondered what it would be like, not just to study abroad for a semester or year, but rather to be a full-time student at a German university? These thoughts may cross your mind, and may be held back by looking around to see everyone else staying stateside. We assure you, however, that there are others out there applying abroad. Germany has some of the top colleges in the world (3 in the top 50) and generally comes at a much lower cost than those in the states.

This said, we get that it is an intimidating process to apply abroad. There are fewer people to ask questions and guidance counselors aren’t typically informed about options. We’d like to do our part to help! As such, we recruited American CBYXer (see here: ) Mackenzie to answer your questions on the application process. She herself is currently at the end of the process with acceptance letters in hand.

What made you want to apply to a German university for grad school rather than an American university?

I completed my bachelor’s degree at Jacobs University in Bremen Germany, and I’ve been working with a German organization since graduation, so Germany is sort of like a second home for me. Other than that, cost plays a big role.

What was the first step to applying to a German university? Could you give a general step-by-step process of what took you to now deciding on a specific university?

I started off by searching for different masters degree programs in public policy, political science and international relations. Once I had a list of programs, I narrowed it down based on location, program quality, and university reputation. When I began the process, I didn’t think of considering any German-language programs. I’ve learned German for about 6 years now, but I didn’t think that my written German skills were strong enough to pursue a degree program 100% auf Deutsch. Once I started shopping around, I realized that taking the TestDaF (basically like TOEFL for non-Native German speakers) would give me more options down the road, and allow me to apply to a few of the bilingual programs I found particularly appealing.

Other than price, what is the biggest difference between applying to a German v. American university?

German universities need a stamped form for everything from language requirements to internship experience to high school transcripts, and this can be quite time consuming. I was quite surprised when I had to call my high school in Kansas to tell them I needed an extra copy of my high school transcript.

Do you need to know German to study at a German university?

Not necessarily. Almost all of the private universities in Germany are taught exclusively in English, and more and more public school programs are being offered in English as well. This being said, it doesn’t hurt to be able to read a bit of German to help you navigate the application process as well as your future life in Germany more generally.

Explain the language requirements and when you would need to take those tests

Oh boy. This was by far the most stressful part of the process. Once I discovered that one of the programs I had planned to apply to had a TestDaF requirement, I was pretty nervous about how I should get started. Luckily, I knew a few people who had already taken the test, so I asked for advice on how to prepare.

The TestDaF has reading, listening, writing and oral components, and is graded on this scale:

The program that I wanted to apply for required a minimum average score of 4, but I know that some programs have other requirements (e.g. at least a 4 in all categories, minimum 3 etc.)

To prepare, I had a friend bring back a prep book from Germany (they are surprisingly hard to find on Amazon), and I worked from the book. The test is similar to standardized tests in the US in that a lot of the process revolves around familiarizing yourself with the style of questions, and making sure that you are able to complete the exam within the given timeframe. Once you know what to expect, and can identify your weaknesses, it is much easier to prepare.

What do you predict will be the full cost of your studies?

It depends. If I decide to study at a private university, it will cost me roughly 30% of comparable programs in the States. For example, the Masters in Public Policy (MPP) at an elite private school like Georgetown has a sticker cost of around $50,000 year, whereas the MPP program at the Hertie School of Governance is priced at 16,250 euros/year.

If I accept an offer to a public school program, I will only need to cover my living expenses (rent, health insurance, public transportation pass, etc). In a German city like Berlin, these costs are all very reasonable.

What is the difference between public and private universities from the perspective of someone applying?

I’d say the differences are pretty similar to the differences in the States. A private school education will get you smaller classes, more one-on-one time with professors, better networking and/or professional development opportunities etc. Because Germans can attend university tuition free in Germany, public university programs are often quite large so the experience is a lot less individualized. I should say that this really depends on the program though!

What advice would you give an American starting the process of applying to a German uni?

Do your research, read the fine print, and make sure you understand all of the requirements! Most of the application deadlines are later than US university deadlines, however, some special programs (particularly the ones designed for a more international audience) have earlier deadlines. To be on the safe side, start doing your research about a year and a half before you plan to start the program. Also, always get stamped copies of everything- because Germans are old school like that.

What were the most helpful resources as an American in finding a university/applying?

I found the TestDaf website helpful, as well as the universities themselves. When I emailed a program contact, they typically got back with me within a few days.

Drops of Jupiter ~ Cancer, Sagittarius, and Pisces

Jupiter has a large auric field and absolutely illuminates everything it touches. When Jupiter is emphasised, the individual’s spiritual pursuit is integrated into finding the meaning of life. The three signs touched by Jupiter - Sagittarius, Pisces, and Cancer, all roam with a temple inside. This contains the guru, spirit guides, and ultimate truth. Jupiter is traditional ruler of Sagittarius and Pisces, and exalts in Cancer. Jupiter exaggerates to find meaning in everything. Rich symbolism from centuries and centuries is bought to life in a colourful display and synthesised through travel of the inner and outer worlds. The Jupiter signs have an interesting sense of cosmic timing. They spot opportunities for developing meaning, they have a kaleidoscope vision that infuses intuition, synchronicity, karmic events, unconscious projection of Scorpio’s findings, and prophecy. It is interesting that the ancients referred to Jupiter as the greater benefic, because astronomers later discovered that Jupiter’s gravitational pull safeguards comets from hitting earth.

Cancer is riding the magnificent dreamboat into an inner sanctuary of spiritual landmarks and self discovery. Cancer weaves and writes an itinerary through the inner experience, traveling through the internal palace where they spend much of their time. The Cancer’s experience can be so internalized because the scope of the inner world and the residence of spirit guides becomes magnified. Their inner world spans like geographic location, with the wideness of the horizon bridging their soul and body. Wanderlust for Cancer exists for ‘the space beneath us’. Sagittarius and Pisces have a more externalized experience of Jupiter. Sagittarius is searching for their own personal myth. There is an inherent harmony in the universe that Sagittarius is intimate with. This symbolises the search. Sagittarius, even without knowing it, is seeking to attain a higher state of spiritual awareness. When sagittarius realises the guru is him at the final house, the sacred map leads him within, to Pisces. The aim of this quest becomes ultimate in its service for pisces. The ultimate rapture of Pisces is not to envelope into the sacred space and dissociate from the earthly realm. it is to dwell in an inaccessible place, to swim in a secret sea and return with good faith, using this knowledge to serve, heal, teach, and cherish.

Pisces contains the whole ocean as a single drop. They express the guide that Sagittarius has found, the one that was resting in the home of Cancer.

Theories on the Future Unknown Miraculous Holder

On February 9, 2017, Lindalee Rose made a post on the Miraculous Amino app about her recent visit to Zag Studios stating this:

I also got to see some of the artists like my friend Angie Nasca working on some of the new character designs for season two and three of the show. I was so excited to see that one of my favorite characters gets a miraculous of their own, and it’s for a animal miraculous we haven’t seen yet. Unfortunately I can’t tell you who it is. But it’s someone a lot of fans have been hoping would have something exciting happen to them. I know when I saw it, I shouted “Cowabunga!”

This is different than with previous future Miraculous holders that have been revealed to us. The first and foremost point is that this Miraculous holder would appear in Season 2 or Season 3. I’d guess it’ll more likely be Season 3, as we’re already getting the Bee and Fox Miraculous holders in Season 2, along with finally seeing Master Fu as the Turtle Miraculous holder. Second, it’s a character we already know from the show; there isn’t any ambiguity on this in comparison to two previously teased Miraculous holders before their NYCC confirmations. Third, it’s a Miraculous we’ve never seen yet. I had to think it over to make sure I wasn’t reading something off, but this comment makes it clear that it’s not one we’ve seen in any way, and I know Lindalee is aware of the other major spoilers. This Miraculous is not one of the seven Miraculouses that are on the top level of Master Fu’s chest, and it’s something new and unseen currently. Finally, it’s someone a lot of fans have been hoping for to experience something like this. It’s not a random, less popular character, like Prince Ali’s chaperone, instead being a character a lot of fans like.

Here are my thoughts on who could be referenced here:

My first guess and strongest belief of who this holder with an unknown Miraculous would be is Nino Lahiffe. I’m in the minority who thinks that Nino will get the Peacock Miraculous after Le Paon, and another theory is that Nino would get the Turtle Miraculous, which, while I’m highly skeptical of, is a possibility. However, there’s no evidence besides a scene in “Ladybug & Cat Noir” that Master Fu has any plans or reasons to give away his Miraculous, and Le Paon would have to be defeated first before Nino could have the Peacock Miraculous, which probably wouldn’t be possible until the very end of Season 3 at the soonest.

In whatever way, Nino is a popular character in fans’ eyes, and we want him to become a Miraculous holder at some point. Also, the “cowabunga” Lindalee exclaimed after seeing him sounds like a phrase Nino may say, as he has quite the radical speech. We all have our preferences on what kind of Miraculous holder we want Nino to be, but if he does get a Miraculou we’ve never seen before, it’s really exciting to see what he would end up with and what powers he’d get. If Marinette’s best friend and Marinette’s enemy/Adrien’s friend can end up the Bee and Fox Miraculous holders, I think Adrien’s best friend has the greatest shoe-in for becoming a holder himself.

My second guess would be Nathaniel Kurtzberg, though I’m much more doubtful with him. If Nino did end up with the Peacock or Turtle Miraculous, another character could end up taking this new, unknown Miraculous. Nathaniel is one of the most popular characters in the fandom, much to the surprise of the crew (like Thomas Astruc), and the lack of exploration into his character in Season 1 leaves a lot of opportunities to develop him and give him an interesting character background. However, Thomas has stated he doesn’t have any idea why Nathaniel is so popular in the past, and while fans have had fun with the character, nothing in the show thus far has ever indicated that Nathaniel is anything more that a recurring, supporting student character like most of Marinette’s classmates.

While there are other possibilities, these two are the highest ones, although I see Nino being the most likely. There are other notable characters, like Lila, but in Lila’s case, she has more of a mixed reputation than “a lot of fans” wanting her to have a Miraculous. Also, similar to my skepticism with Nathaniel, most of the students in Marinette’s class have never been given any indication yet of being more than supporting characters who deserve major development. Another factor is that I sense we’re more likely due for a male Miraculous holder in Season 3 than another female. Season 1 has two male and two female Miraculous holders, but by the end of Season 2 or beginning of Season 3, three female Miraculous holders will be added. I’m excited for the 3:1 female/male ratio in the superhero team, Master Fu more likely functioning as a healer and mentor, but if a fifth member or ally is added, I hope he would be male so that Cat Noir could have a male companion his age.

In another post, I may write about what other Miraculouses exist and be possible for this unknown Miraculous holder. What are you thoughts, and who do you think/hope will get this mysterious Miraculous?

A lot of what Jörmungandr has been working with me about is dispelling the concept of - for lack of a better word - “cringe”.

As someone with anxiety, it’s been increasingly difficult to look back on where I’ve been and what I’ve done in my past without some kind of negative feeling. So Jörm has had me looking into the process of metamorphosis, and what its led me to realize is that while there might be something I am becoming, that’s no reason to completely dispel what has been, or cause myself pain over it, because it’s just as natural as anything.

No matter how ugly and awkward something might seem, or feel, there’s always change; there has to be, or we stay as tadpoles all our lives. And it’s not necessarily that the final form is better than who we start out as, it’s that part of the beauty is the change itself, and every phase of it. There are also some who, in the ideal environment, that do not further their development, and it’s what’s worked best for their individual condition. That does not make either one more or less successful, simply different creatures altogether.

Slowly, we are discovering who we are becoming, and that’s incredible.

Is there a Harry Potter AU where he’s not famous?

Where he’s just a child raised in a negligent, abusive household that’s given an escape and that’s all it is? Not a pitfall into a greater burden, but an honest fresh start and how he deals with it?

James and Lily went into hiding with their young son, but were discovered and murdered, as had happened to many other good witches and wizards in those dark times, and that’s all anyone knows. There’s no residue of Voldemort disappearing there - the Death Eaters one day became disorganized and defeated.

When Harry Potter arrives at Hogwarts, he’s just another war orphan. And he doesn’t talk about his home life, but he’s eager to finally belong, and make friends, and join teams, and welcomes the positive attention offered him. How would he grow and develop? What opportunities would he feel less self-conscious about leaping onto? Would he feel more comfortable about stepping outside his house and exploring more friendships? No prophet dogging his steps, no shameful attention from his peers and media, no prophesied demands hanging overhead.

If the wizarding world, for a time, was exactly the escape he had dreamed of in the cupboard all those years, how different would he be?

Under the cut you’ll find a guide/tips for writing good thread replies! There’s honestly nothing worse than having a partner who gives you nothing to respond to. It disrupts the flow of a good back and forth between writing partners, and it can make any thread seem like a pointless chore. Hopefully this little guide will give you some pointers on how to write replies that gives your partner lots of work with and keeps threads from getting too repetitive or boring.

anonymous asked:

For me, Batman getting married does not mean he can't be Batman anymore. If anything, him marrying Selina makes sense because she is probably the most likely person he can be married to and still be Batman at the same time. In my mind, I think the man just wants some peace.

Creators need to get over their hang ups about romance and marriage, and the marriage-means-the-end-of-the-story trope needs to die a fiery death. Superman and Lois Lane were married for fifteen years, hell, they’re married right now. Black Canary and Green Arrow got married, and the only reason their marriage ended was because DC Comics suddenly decided that superheros should be bachelors. The common thought seems to be that if Batman gets married (because marriage means happiness by default) he will become less dark and brooding and therefore less interesting. Earth-2 Batman was happily married for years and was still dark and brooding and heroic. Powergirl even once described him as being “really crazy.”

The superheros must have unhappy personal lives is so beyond tired. I said this in my criticism of DC’s status quo a couple of years ago but, you need good things and happy moments to counteract the bad because it makes things like tragedy more poignant and impactful when they happen.

Tom King said it himself: the well has run dry on the Batman-as-a-sacrificial-hero-endless-tragedy cycle, which coincidentally is almost the exact opposite of what Batman’s last writer had to say about him. Being bold and taking risks as a writer doesn’t always involve shock and gore. There’s way more opportunities story wise by allowing Batman and Catwoman to get married than not. There’s opportunities for developing character relationships that wouldn’t exist otherwise (like Selina and the batfam) and it opens more opportunities for stories across the DC Universe. Selina could turn down Bruce’s proposal and he’ll be sad then that’ll be it. He’ll brood for a few pages and then we’ll just be off to the next arc. But if she accepts it opens the doors for a lot of stories that have never been told, because DC Comics has never dared to do it before. For example I really want to know how the Justice League reacts to the revelation.

The thing that makes Batman and Catwoman work is their ability to reconcile both parts of who they are. They don’t compartmentalize Bruce and Selina and Batman and Catwoman: they see each other as one whole person. All of Bruce’s past relationships ultimately failed because his respective partner couldn’t ever be completely involved in his life. Silver St. Cloud ended things because she couldn’t handle the superhero lifestyle, and Bruce was briefly engaged to Julie Madison, when he had amnesia and had no idea that he was Batman. The second he regained his memory it was over.

Batman can’t be with someone who’s safety he has to constantly worry about. Selina is the only person that has really been able to share all parts of his life with and the only person he can form that type of partnership with. They’ve both been there for each other at their lowest and darkest moments, they’ve had access to each other that others haven’t, and because of who they are they understand each other in ways that are impossible for other people. Batman was there for Catwoman when her guilt over the Black Mask fiasco caused her to act out self destructively, and Bruce confided in Selina about his attempted suicide after his parents deaths.

Going by some of the recent events and some of things Tom King has said, I don’t know if the consensus is, where Batman and Catwoman to marry, that would mean the end of Bruce’s crime fighting career. I haven’t been reading so there could be something to indicate that I don’t know about, but the sense that I’m getting is that everyone, fans, writers, everyone is exhausted from grimdark Batman and think there’s room in his life and story for a little bit of happiness.

Batman and Catwoman work because of who they are and it would be a huge waste of opportunity to throw all of that away if they got married.

Chris Hardwick will host a new prime-time show about science and technology
Variety reports that the series will “marvel at mankind’s tremendous feats,” and feature stories about new scientific and technological innovations.

NBC just ordered six episodes of a new prime-time series about science and technology, Variety reports. The series, bluntly called The Awesome Show, will be hosted by Nerdist founder and Talking Dead host Chris Hardwick.

“The opportunity to develop a primetime show that celebrates science and technology was too good to pass up,” Hardwick said in a statement to Variety. “It is very important to me to make something that positively promotes these topics in order to share humanity’s triumphs, to instill hope for our future, and to inspire the next generation of young thinkers.”

While details on what the show will actually be about are scarce, Variety reports that the series will “marvel at mankind’s tremendous feats,” and feature stories about new scientific and technological innovations.

It might sound unusual for a show like this to get a slot on prime time, but Hardwick has a history of drawing eyeballs for NBC. He currently hosts the game show The Wall, which is the network’s highest-rated unscripted launch of the year, according toThe Hollywood Reporter.

The Awesome Show doesn’t yet have a premiere date scheduled.
