—- “There is a difference between the things you want to draw and the things you can draw. The creator should draw the things they can draw. That’s what I’ve heard, but what do the two senseis think about that statement?” That is the question from pen name - “Red Pencil san”.

“I try to avoid men’s ideal image of a heroine and women’s ideal image of heroes, because they come across as fake. I want to make them like normal existing people… I mean I want to aspire to make the acts and reactions of the characters realistic.”

booksophie  asked:

does everyone in your murder anime wear like an inch of eye liner

thats how you know its a fictional setting. everyone’s eyeliner game is on point from the womb to the tomb. not a single screw up to be found.

now that im thinking about it i just realized that you can actually tell a character’s power level from their eyeliner game.

standard anime eyeliner treatment for a standard human power level. while yako katsuragi continues to be the most important character of the anime, her eyeliner is unremarkable. however, it is still better than any of us could ever hope for.

shinobu godai, ex-mobster turned servant, has mastered the art of the eyeliner, but has not learned when enough is enough and you need to stop drawing on your eyelids. impressive form, but he suffers in technique.

investigator and super gay cop boyfriend eishi sasazuka doesnt wear eyeliner. that is what makes him so powerful. those lines around his eyes are there because he hasn’t slept in 15 years. this is a man to be respected and feared.

detective pisslord neuro nougami’s eyeliner game is quite literally out of this world. his power levels top every chart. his eyeliner game is so strong that if you meet him on the streets, you are not allowed to look directly into his eyes.

Assassination Classroom Manga Creator Yusei Matsui to Attend New York Comic Con

“Viz Media, Japan Society, and ReedPOP announced on Friday that Assassination Classroom manga creator Yusei Matsui will attend New York Comic Con this year. Matsui will attend events and autograph sessions.

New York Comic Con will be held from October 6-9 at the Javits Center.

Matsui worked as an assistant to Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo manga creator Yoshio Sawai, and then debuted his 23-volume Neuro - Supernatural Detective manga in Weekly Shonen Jump in 2005. That manga inspired a 25-episode television anime series in 2007-2008, and Viz Media began streaming the series in 2011.

Matsui then launched Assassination Classroom in 2012, and ended the series in March. Shueisha will publish the manga’s 21st volume in Japan on July 4, and Viz Media published the manga’s 10th volume in English on June 7.”
