destructive power

anonymous asked:

So does your tag mashumallows refer to her or her plot? Because I've always wondered that.

Anon you clearly don’t understand.

Mashu in general is a marshmallow.

Article A:

you see that right?

10/10

Article B:

ENHANCE

also look at that

SQUISH

Also you must know about the Halloween art right

Here’s what Fou has to say about that:

Fou: “Fou. Foufoufoufoufoufou” (First of all, her belly is fantastic. Yes, belly. It’s a bit more curly than it used to be don’t you think? You should thank me for not stopping you two from eating too many dangos. It is hardly necessary to mention about the destructive power of her busts at this point. I am well aware of that. Still, I am in shock. Mashu looks slimmer when she has more clothes on….very dangerous. Very very dangerous. I am not a big fan of the overall color, but purple does suit Halloween night rather well. Noble, lewd, and innocent. Shouldn’t we design an extra class just for her?)

She is a Mashumallow.

So one of the things I love about watching Star Wars: A New Hope after having watched all the other Star Wars movies is how… well… how normal Luke’s upbringing appears to have been.

It’s not just that he was loved. It’s clear that Breha and Bail Organa loved Leia immensely. But she was a princess functionally from birth, and then became a senator at–what? eighteen, nineteen, twenty? Something like that. She was much loved and much trusted, obviously, but her upbringing must have been… “unusual” would be putting it mildly. As a teenager she was learning statecraft and politics–and deception.

And their mother must have been the same way, queen from such a young age, raised and trained to rule. And their father–loved, yes, deeply, and I have no doubt that his mother did her best to protect Anakin from the worst parts of slavery–but he was still a slave, as was she, and there was only so much they could do.

But Luke! Luke got the gift of a perfectly normal childhood. All the jokes about Luke, the whining about wanting to go to TOSCHE station to pick up some POWER CONVERTERS–the snippy teenagery conversation he has with his uncle about waiting “a whole nother year????”–the shooting womp rats in his T-16 back home–the fact that left to his own devices, at the same age that Leia is deciding THE FATE OF HER PLANET, he’s still playing with model spaceships…..

…they’re all signs that he had a normal childhood. That he’s a normal eighteen, nineteen, twenty, whatever year old.

I mean, he grew up in a situation where it was completely safe for him to whine to his parent figures. He knew that Lars and Beru wouldn’t make him pay for his “but I wanted to go to TOSCHE STATION” or for his “I want to go to the academy THIS year” or whatever. Unlike basically every other Skywalker ever he grew up without a ton of extra pressure, without a “oh by the way you’re going to be king of [planet]” stuff, without “also you’re the Destined Future of the Jedi.” They didn’t raise a legacy, or a scion–they just raised a child. (In point of fact, that’s why Yoda almost rejects him: he’s too old, and he was raised too normal.)  And since Owen and Beru obviously knew perfectly well who and what he was, that’s actually an astonishing accomplishment. They were delivered an infant who they knew had the approximate destructive power of a nuclear device, and they still raised him as… a kid, a child, a boy who they loved with the same mixture of exasperation and devotion as any parent-figures.

He grew up as a kid, with a gruff but loving uncle and a sweet-tempered aunt, he grew up skeet-shooting womp rats and hanging out with his friends in Anchorhead when he had an excuse to go into town–and it’s clear how safe he feels with them because he does whine and moan and have fits without any apparent worry that he’s going to pay for it later. He whines and moans in the way I did at that age: in perfect confidence that while my parents might temporarily snap at me, they would never hurt me, and they would always love me. And that all they really wanted for me was to grow up safe and happy.

tl;dr: Luke Skywalker: the last of the Jedi(?) but also maybe the first of the Jedi to grow up in a normally functional childhood.

(I also really, really want to see the story in which he grieves his aunt and uncle for more than ten seconds. Perhaps I will write it.)

Pluto thru the Houses

1st house - these people are very intense. It may seem like they’re looking straight through you sometimes, probably because they are. Someone with pluto in the 1st house individuals view life as a series of struggles with many traumatic ups and downs, and the occasional drastic change to their overall self. These people are not looking for the superficial; they want to know the how, what, where, why, who, and probably more. They want to understand the world and the people in it. Typically, you’d find that someone with pluto in the 1st house may have experienced trauma at birth, or the mother did during birth. These people do not back down, if something is in their path they simply move it out of the way and make room for more possibilities. They have very destructive powers and can be somewhat masterminds at using it onto others; they are great manipulators. They can probably convince you to do a lot of things you could not see yourself ever doing, but because they’re saying to do it, it doesn’t seem so bad. However these people are always on guard and looking out for themselves, they see life as survival of the fittest. They tend to experience a lot of personal growth through their life and are usually very wise even only in their 20′s, it seems like they’ve experienced and felt everything life has to offer. Their eyes are keen and penetrating. Their suppressed emotions can erupt sometimes, rising to the surface, causing them to act in extremes. They are the epitome of intense. They may not trust the world as a whole. Pluto in the 1st house people may have experienced life or death situations, or extreme trauma in their lives, usually making them very strong people with thick skin. They present themselves in a very secretive and covert way to others. A lot of people find themselves very attracted to these people, with no explanation as to why.

2nd house - the 2nd house rules money, pluto rules obsessions, so it’s an obvious and superficial answer to say that people with pluto here will be obsessed with money - although it can be true. However, someone with this placement may hold secret and hidden talents/ways of making money that could change the world. These people may be hoarders, with money or materials. Some may see money and possessions as a symbol of power and superiority; some may see it as being closer to God. Their income is likely to come from pluto-like professions/careers: psychology, therapy, medical fields, detective, undercover jobs, or healing professions.

3rd house - mixing pluto with the house of thinking and communication adds a very deep, penetrating and scorpionic flavor to someone’s brain. The goal for these people is to transcend and penetrate through the superficial or typical trains of thought or ideas and dive so much deeper into the grain. These people are great at studying, researching, investigating, etc. The 3rd house also rules siblings and who we grew up with. Pluto in the 3rd house individuals may feel as if they had to fend for themselves growing up, resulting in becoming very defensive over themselves and always trying to put themselves first to avoid manipulation and/or abuse. These people are also very intuitive, and it seems as if when they think about something or mention something, it happens the next day. Which can be scary sometimes. It may have been difficult for these people to open up in their childhood due to the feeling of keeping everything inside to avoid vulnerability and/or manipulation.

4th house - having such a powerful planet on one of the angles in the chart (1st, 4th, 7th, 10th houses) is not something to not take lightly. Pluto in the 4th house individuals may of had to deal with a mother that was plutonic herself. She may have taken her emotions out on her children, been very restrictive, possessive, domineering, obsessive, or there could have been something to cause all of this in her - a death in the family, mostly, because pluto rules death. Death can mean a lot of things though. Divorce, actual death, the endings to things can all mean death. The childhood may have been very complex, dark and twisty, and many traumas may have been felt or occurred in the childhood (by the mother, probably). These individuals with pluto residing in the 4th house may have had to grow up fast, and became wise at a very young age, feeling as if they’ve felt the world’s pain just inside their own household.

5th house - someone with pluto in the 5th house takes the pleasures and leisurely themes of the 5th house to high extremes. It can be very hard for these people to loosen up or just let go and have fun for once. They can have a tendency to take life very seriously. They make become self destructive in these areas of the 5th house too, like through casual sex; these people are not the type for that. They may also attract scorpio/pluto types in relationships, even stalkers at times. The person with pluto in the 5th house may feel like some kind of tortured artist; having so much inspiration, creativity and desire but just cannot get any of it out. They must learn valuable lessons in life of pleasure and creativity and to stop being their own worst enemy/critic, and to just let it pour out of themselves. These people, as children, may have been told “no” a lot, for having different or “dark” interests. They may love dark themed art, movies, photography, etc, and take part in it themselves. They may be fascinated with scorpionic topics that are taboo, but they don’t see it as taboo. They see it as, “why don’t more people know about this? Why is this kept such a secret?” thus resulting in societal-based inappropriate expressions of feelings, such as loss and death. They can have addiction problems as well and it would be wise of them to avoid gambling, drinking, drugs, etc, as best as they possibly could.

6th house - pluto in the house of daily routine, jobs, and service can result in obsessive tendencies in all of these the 6th house as to offer. Someone with pluto here may have obsessive daily activities, whether it’s as simple as needing to walk the dog every single day at 7 o’clock or drink/do drugs, etc. It is just the fact that it’s obsessive and nearly compulsive. They may be subject to being hypochondriacs as well, being obsessed with their own health to an unhealthy point. Eating disorders may be something pluto in the 6th house has to struggle with in their life. Basic everyday activities turn into compulsive rituals with pluto in the 6th, getting dressed in the morning may be the biggest event of all to them.

7th house - the 7th house represents who we attract, what we are attracted to (in some cases), what we project onto others, and what we can be projected as. With pluto here, relationships are not taken lightly. The individual with pluto in the 7th house may attract plutonic people themselves - obsessive, possessive, controlling, manipulative, etc. Though those are just the negative qualities of pluto, they may also attract the lighter side of pluto and experience the true transformation desired through relationships. The person with pluto here experiences relationships as a type of awakening. There may be power struggles present in the person’s relationships, where one may desire more control over the other - and most commonly, it is not the person with pluto in the 7th house. They may give in to manipulation and take this sort of abuse from their partner. The person with pluto in the 7th house definitely feels like relationships are catalysts for self transformation and rebuilding. There could be a reoccurring theme of suffocation in relationships; ones that are too smothering, too over-protective. Interactions between others for the person with pluto here are addictive and sometimes dependent. They can become addicted to relationships and the feeling of enhancement it brings them.

8th house - in pluto’s ruling house, it feels very at home. Pluto in the 8th house individuals can experience major life changes, or most commonly the individual will experience one major life transformation that completely marks them forever. They will be very attracted to 8th house themes: sex, death, transformation, power/survival, and money (other people’s). Intimate relationships are felt with every fiber of the person’s soul; they mostly result in major changes in both people involved. Sex can be consuming for the person with pluto in the 8th house; the sex drive is likely high, because of the personal connection and how much they feel they resonate with it. These people are very probing and will more than likely be interested in the occult and 8th house surrounding themes. They may have some kind of hidden death wish.

9th house - pluto in the 9th house individuals may have gotten so obsessed and even involved with their beliefs from a traumatic or high pressured situations. Those moments where you’re praying to god that nothing bad will happen, and that you will be singled out and saved by some supernatural force or higher power. Those moments convinced the pluto in the 9th house individual that “this is real, this is what’s going to save me, and I must do what I can to pay them back.” These people can feel some kind of obligation and obsession with their belief systems. There can obviously be a fascination with occult, philosophy, archaeology, or alchemy. They can search intensely for the meaning of life, and are strong believers in the phrase “Knowledge is power”. They believe what you know will save you. Pluto in the 9th house individuals can feel greatly impacted by their higher education opportunities and feel that it is or was the most influential factor in their life. They are fiercely stubborn in their beliefs as well.

10th house - the 10th house, or midheaven, is the highest point on the natal chart. The 10th house is what other’s see, your reputation, how others are perceiving you to be. With pluto here, it may take a while for the public or others in your career field to like you as a person. You seem like a powerful and intimidating force. Many of the world’s most famous (and infamous) leaders have pluto in the 10th, or harshly aspecting the 10th house, like Vladimir Putin for a good example (pluto square the midheaven). Those with pluto in the 10th house experience self transformation through their career. The individual’s ambition is highly developed, and there is a drive where nothing can stop you from reaching your end goal. The career will be found within plutonian fields: psychology, detective, healer, investigating, or something involved in business. The person with pluto in the 10th house will usually take their career and lead it onto a completely new path; addressing the things that no one will talk about or make an effort to change or acknowledge. Eminem has this placement, and it’s easy to see that. They challenge and change society, and that usually becomes what they are known for.

11th house - the 11th house rules groups, social circles and dreams/aspirations. When pluto is found in this house, it can usually result in the individual experiencing intense and life-changing relationships with those involved in their social life - so, friends. Friends play a huge role on this person because they are the most influential and powerful force in their life. The individual with pluto in the 11th house may attract “powerful” friends in their life - those well known, for good or bad. Pluto here can give someone extreme anxiety or paranoia when it comes to crowds or being surrounded by new people (strangers may scare them). The need to control or dominate their friend group, or any kind of group, may become a real problem in their lives. Common effects of pluto are jealousy and mistrust, and this can occur as well in their social circle - the individual with pluto in the 11th must learn to not be so mistrustful of those they call their friends but they feel they cannot help it at times. They believe they have a reason to feel that way. The positive side however, is the bond of very powerful, long lasting and reliable friendships.

12th house - the 12th house is the most unconscious, self-unaware house - it is almost impossible to fully understand, because it is the part of ourselves that we most commonly reject. With such a powerful planet in this house, there is definitely an ultimate fear of losing control, and may result in self destructive tendencies that can occur unconsciously. People with this placement are usually somewhat masochistic - not even always sexually but emotionally. They tend to take on a lot of weight and pain from others onto yourself which can hurt them a lot at times. This is usually a placement representing some kind of abuse or trauma, (TW) usually sexual. With pluto working behind the scenes of the chart, you have someone that’s very spiritually and intuitively gifted though. They’d make a detective probably. This placement can be very difficult though because it can feel like you’re being faced with your demons a lot. Pluto in the 12th can experience a lot of emotional turmoil. It’s an intense planet in an intense house. You could have really raw and intense (maybe violent) desires (sexually) (that you could feel ashamed of, probably, because of the nature of the planet & house). It’s really important for people with pluto here to have some kind of emotional outlet to let out distress because self destructive tendencies are likely.

Neptune is gazing through the looking glass of a thousand dreams glossed in godly vision, creative genius, and enticing chaos. It is stillness that is only momentary, but worth sacrificing everything for, and to some, the lure is too captivating, and so there is addiction, or lethargy, or poisonous relationships. In mythology, Neptune was assigned to the ocean. Neptune’s gender is evasive, it symbolizes a oneness, the muse playing orchestras from the clouds.

Neptune in Aries - Neptune in the 1st house

The person can become so lost without an identity they no longer realise they are self destructing. Powerful spiritual energy magnetizes around the person, but this can also make them lost and separate from the world

Neptune in Taurus - Neptune in the 2nd house

Self worth may be fluctuating, at times intimately sensitive with all things, at other times the separation and emptiness becomes a longing for material consumption.

Neptune in Gemini - Neptune in the 3rd house

The individual learns in a very unusual way that may be difficult for educators to grasp. They are pulled between dimensions of consciousness, often seeming in a state of confusion, understanding the language of many things

Neptune in Cancer - Neptune in the 4th house

There is an insatiable feeling of abandonment. The mother image is contained in fantasy here, she wanted goddess as her mother. The subconscious is deeply attached to the upbringing, but the individual’s recollection of childhood may be vague, short on details, and filled with black spots.

Neptune in Leo - Neptune in the 5th house

Chases unavailable romances or involves themselves in clandestine relationships. Can be deliriously devoted to artists, spiritualists, or celebrities

Neptune in Virgo - Neptune in the 6th house

Sacrifice feels sacred with Neptune in the 6th. There are imaginary ailments and anxieties that other people cannot soothe. Daily life is filled with hidden, although secret miracles.

Neptune in Libra - Neptune in the 7th house

The eyes of god reflect through the faces of everybody they pass. Makes tremendous sacrifice for the partner, and in continuing with the deception theme, maybe even sacrifices their own own mental wellness to stay with someone

Neptune in Scorpio - Neptune in the 8th house

Despite holding a  glass of champagne and smiling, the individual may dance and laugh and all the while be dreaming of death. These thoughts and urges can erupt without organic cause and vanish just as mysteriously

Neptune in Sagittarius - Neptune in the 9th house

Indulging in many esoteric pursuits becomes the voyage of life. There may be religious fanaticism or delirious devotion. There is a temple Neptune in the 9th seeks, a unity of all belief and elevated awareness, life is approached like a pilgrimage, the feeling of comfort and safety is evasive.

Neptune in Capricorn - Neptune in the 10th house

Difficult for the person to decide upon a career because the dream is always calling in many directions. High receptivity for the needs of the public. Feels they have an extraordinary purpose in the world. But how do they figure out what it is?

Neptune in Aquarius - Neptune in the 11th house

Friendships serve as a source of spiritual energy for the person.  The feeling of belonging and being something meaningful to people is important. Can be fanatical when it comes to saving others

Neptune in Pisces - Neptune in the 12th house

Those hands have bandaged many. But they have also bandaged their own hands, hearts, and spirit time and time again. Everything can feel like drowning. Only through finding a place with God can they draw breath.

celebrity is as celebrity does
  • imagine, if you will, a young Rita Skeeter
  • she’s in her fifth year at Hogwarts
  • in Slytherin, of course
  • she’s already decided that upon graduation, she’ll be working for the Daily Prophet
  • now, given that Hogwarts doesn’t really have ‘liberal arts’ classes, Rita’s been able to negotiate some free periods into her schedule
  • “Oh please, Professor Slughorn, you don’t wish for me to work on my writing, on my craft, in History of Magic do you?”
  • she’s on her way to the library, as it’s the other place besides the Great Hall where she can find fodder for her…’stories’
  • now, given her ambitious nature and the fact that she’s not registered, it’s safe to assume that Rita pulled a Marauders and taught herself to become an animagus
  • she stops outside the library and quickly scans her surroundings
  • satisfied, she shifts into her beetle form, and is about to fly through the large wooden doors when she hears it, a whisper from a hidden alcove
  • “Accio, beetle.”
  • Rita feels herself fly backwards into someone’s hand
  • fingers close around her
  • and suddenly she feels them moving
  • Rita can’t see anything until she’s released a while later in what she eventually learn is the Room of Requirement
  • as she tries to orient herself, she’s hit again by another whispered spell and all of a sudden she’s back in her human form
  • emerald and silver robes askew, blonde hair tousled, and glasses perched haphazardly on her nose
  • Rita composes herself and draws her wand, quick as lightning
  • she jabs foward, her wand poking into blue and copper robes
  • she glances up
  • green eyes meet blue
  • and she realizes she’s face to face with a boy
  • a rather handsome one, in fact
  • “What do you think you’re playing at?” she spits out, digging the end of her wand into the boy’s chest
  • to her annoyance, he flashes her a blinding smile and laughs, his golden curls dancing in merriment
  • “Oh, my dear, you and I both know you’re in no position to be making demands.” the boy smoothly answers, his smile never wavering

  • Rita lowers her wand and looks down her nose at the fourth year in front of her
  • “I do suppose, how ever, introductions are in order,” the boy continues
  • he grabs one of her perfectly manicured hands
  • “Rita Skeeter,” he says before kissing her hand, “the name’s Gilderoy Lockhart. And I believe that we can be of great help to each other.”
  • and over the coming years, that’s exactly what they do
  • Gilderoy helps Rita embellish her tall tales
  • Rita helps Gilderoy with his jinxes and hexes especially the memory charm

  • Gilderoy gives Rita exclusive interviews, elevating her status at the Prophet
  • Rita writes countless articles about Gilderoy, helping generate his popularity

  • but in fleeting moments of fumbling hands and stolen kisses, of drunken nights and countless quiet mornings, they also bring out the best in each other
  • Rita learns that Gilderoy just wants to make sure he’s leaving something behind, to make sure that long after he’s gone, people will remember him
  • and Gilderoy finds out that Rita wants to be indispensable, to be irreplaceable; she wants to make others dependent on her, she wants to feel needed
  • they supported each other
  • they made each other laugh
  • but they never saw each other cry
  • well, granted, there was one time Gilderoy did see Rita cry

i'm giggling to myself bc i keep imagining that sasuke's and naruto's friendship starts bc sasuke learns that naruto has massive chakra reserves and he's just like "well /hello destruction/" and they probably become everyone's worst nightmare.

The first time Sasuke really notices Naruto is during their Academy class’s unit on sealing.

To be fair, it would be kind of hard to miss him after the way he shoves so much chakra into the exploding tag he’s supposed to be making that he blows up the back half of the classroom and launches himself about twenty feet into the air. A couple of the other kids are a bit singed, and they end up having to share a room with another class until the terminally overworked Mokuton user can fix the wall and ceiling, but Naruto wanders back in the next day looking sheepish and entirely unharmed.

Since Sasuke saw him take the brunt of the explosion, this is worthy of note. So is the fact that he managed to shove enough chakra into the tag to burn out the safety seal that was supposed to keep things like that from happening.

Under the cover of Iruka-sensei’s yelling, Sasuke looks down at the diagram on his paper, a jutsu that his father dismissed as unreasonable and unusable given normal human limits, and thinks, Huh.

“All your old designs?” Shisui says with some confusion when Sasuke tracks him down after class. He rocks back on his heels, eyeing Sasuke a little warily, and swipes ineffectually at an ink-stain on his cheek. “Yeah, I still have them—I wouldn’t throw them out after you gave them to me for safekeeping, brat.”

“I need them,” Sasuke says with determination. “All of them.”

Shisui blinks, then tilts his head, studying him for a moment. “You know the amount of chakra they need would kill most jounin,” he says, though it’s too curious to be an accusation. “I think even Sarutobi-sama might have trouble with some of them. You’ve got a habit of thinking big, kid.”

“Are you going to give them to me or not?” Sasuke demands crankily, because he’s got curfew in three hours and he still has to pick through his plans to find the easiest one and find Naruto.

“Of course.” Shisui sounds offended that he’d think otherwise. “They’re your designs, Sasuke. Check the hall closet, top shelf—Tenzō!”

Shisui’s boyfriend takes one look at the manic light in his eyes, the scrolls scattered over the breakfast table, and the ink smeared across his face, then blanches and turns right back around.

“No no no!” Shisui lunges after him, grabbing up his scrolls and vaulting clear over the table. “Tenzō, no, come back, I swear this one isn’t like last time, this is a brilliant idea, you will be blown away!”

“Urgent mission, ANBU called, I have to go!” Tenzō calls over his shoulder as he bolts.

Tenzō! That wasn’t even a convincing lie! Come on, you’re the only one in the village with Mokuton, you have to try this or my brilliance is wasted, it’s a gorgeous jutsu! Tenzō!”

Sasuke rolls his eyes as the yelling fades behind him and heads for the closet. The box with the jutsus his father rejected is right where Shisui said it would be, and Sasuke clutches it and thinks a little gleefully about the potential of even one of these jutsus, provided he can get Naruto to agree. The destructive power. The awesome might. The possible explosions.

(Somewhere deep in R&D’s basement Mikoto pauses in the middle of creating a devastating combination jutsu, and turns to smile fondly at the picture of her youngest son on the wall. She’s so glad he got more of her proclivities than Fugaku’s, even if her husband does tend to complain about the property damage more frequently since she introduced him to the wonders of explosive chakra techniques.)

Naruto is just heating up water for his nightly cup of ramen, halfway through trying to factor a new jumpsuit into his monthly budget while still having money for Ichiraku’s, when there’s a knock on his door. A little wary—because Hokage-jiji usually warns him when he’s going to drop by, and there’s no one else who visits Naruto—he pulls it open, and finds himself face-to-face with the weird nerd who spends pretty much all of their time in class drawing on big scrolls. Iruka-sensei yells at him to pay attention almost as much as he does Naruto, which automatically makes Naruto like him.

But he and Naruto have never even spoken before, so Naruto has no earthly idea what he’s doing here.

“Hello?” he asks.

The boy thrusts the shoebox he’s carrying at Naruto and says, “Your chakra reserves are amazing will you try my jutsus?”

This is, Naruto learns much, much later, the Uchiha equivalent of a marriage proposal.

Even if he’d known, he probably still would have lit up with glee and cried, “Yes!”

“Not a word,” Mikoto tells her husband as she ladles miso soup into five bowls instead of the usual four.

Fugaku rolls his eyes at her, ignoring her warning to offer, “I don’t think Kushina would have liked anything more than for you to take in her son.”

“And now we have an excuse,” Mikoto says triumphantly, waving the ladle like it’s a weapon to stab Danzō and the other Elders with. “We couldn’t approach him but they didn’t say anything about Sasuke now did they? Hah!”

“I think,” Fugaku says dryly, casting a glance at where Sasuke is looking halfway to manic as he explains one of his jutsus to a beaming Naruto, “that the Elders are very shortly going to have much bigger things to worry about.”

I’mma punch someone if I see another post about how Orisa’s head is ugly or comments on the “weird bananas horns.” It’s probable that Orisa’s design is based off the African Buffalo:

or just the African elephant:

Both are sacred animals in Africa and often represent strength, power, destruction, and protection (and that’s just off the top of my head).  So stfu, about how “stupid” Orisa’s design looks and how you wanted Doomfist more. You’ve been seen…

And keep up the good work, Blizzard.

I am like a tree that grows upwards and downwards both at once. I am a being that needs both the power of destruction and healing. It’s no surprise that I feel like I’m getting better and getting worse both at the same time. It’s a shitty feeling. To have this desire to kill myself only to realize that it’s only through the process of growing towards the fear, towards the storm up above me that I could surpass the anxiety of being alone, of being afraid that I’m heading nowhere in life. And just like any other tree in this world—I’ll just keep on growing.

I’m posting this at 12am so nobody sees it

This AU got so dark so fast.

Kwami swap with Papillon!Adrien (Greyling) and Chat!Hawkmoth (Tuxedo Cat).

By some misfortune of the universe, Gabe ends up with the Cat Noir miraculous in the first place and Ladybug, dispensed as the yin to his yang, is tasked with getting it back. Naturally, he wants her miraculous too and wreaks havoc all across paris to lure her out. He is ruthless with cataclysm. Ladybug has to grow up a lot quicker to handle a guy with the power of destruction trying to kill her, so Mari ends up being a lot more serious but very in control of her double life.

Master Fu recognizes that she’s in over her head when one day Tuxedo Cat comes out to raise hell and Adrien, a civilian currently sneaking out to go to school, has to step in and help. Fu sees his potential and gives Nooroo to him. Gabe being Tux is like “Shit I put my son in danger” and puts Adrien on basically full throttle house arrest. No matter! The butterfly brooch holder is a distance fighter anyhow.

Greyling is born. Kid, you are not subtle with your names. Anyway, the akumas now sort of work in reverse: whenever Tux attacks, Greyling asks civilians for their help sending him back to lick his wounds/better yet, get his miraculous.

And the important stuff: the love square. Ladybug, though grateful for the thought, is not a fan of Adrien risking his life to help her that first time, but after that doesn’t have much contact with him. Marinette and Adrien don’t interact much either to begin with. Adrien still obviously loves Ladybug (so selfless, brave, and kind). The mutually reciprocated ship is Greydybug: Ladybug slowly begins to fall in love with whoever keeps sending help to her when Tux attacks though she knows very little about him. Unfortunately, in this au, a reveal is a death sentence, frustrating any attempts at them actually getting together.

Adrien has a lot less of a facade in this au since his dad is even more distant. He sometimes acts out in non-malicious ways to try to get attention and ends up anonymously forging a camaraderie with Mari. Since he’s more in tune with his emotions, Greyling sometimes accidentally ends up possessing his heroes in his desperate desire to help ladybug (which we see about to happen here). He’s good at it but is constantly horrified when his transformation drops and he realizes who he is again.

Anyway I fully support Papillon!Adrien and yall should too.

  • What she says: Star is jealous of Marco and Jackie's relationship
  • What she means: Star is so overtaken by jealousy and negative emotions to the point where they affect the way her spells are cast. They become much more powerful and destructive as seen when she sends one flying towards the Love Sentence sign and DEMOLISHES it effortlessly. She was bottling up that kind of frustration as she talked to Marco and assured him that everything was alright, which was an amazing cover-up of how she really felt. And it's no surprise that she feels like this if you really think about it: Marco is her BEST FRIEND. They live together, ride the bus to school together, walk home together, fight monsters together, and have developed a friendship that works amazingly well. They're earnest with each other, support each other, and they work out their problems in a very healthy way. But Jackie throws an unintentional wrench into their dynamic by dating Marco, because Marco has someone else to do all those things with now. Jackie is the girl of Marco's dreams, and a girl who he is getting to REALLY know after admiring her from afar for so long. He finally has a chance to become someone important to her, and to cherish her like he always wanted to and their relationship will pave the way to doing all the things that Marco was able to do with Star and MORE. While that does not mean friendships are worth less than romantic relationships, it does mean that Marco will inevitably feel more attached to Jackie and carry that obligation to treat her the way a girlfriend should be treated. This obviously interferes with Marco's attention to Star, because he will spend less time with her and more with someone else who he deems a significant other. Now Star has to pretend that everything is okay since she doesn't want to admit that she's upset while her best friend is happy with another girl. It's something she can't help but feel, but because she feels too ashamed to tell that to her best friend of all people, she continues to put on a fake smile in front of him and vents in other unhealthy ways.
