Font styles make the difference.
Times New Roman is the font style our brain reads faster, so be sure to change a document to it if you don’t have much time to read it.
If you review a document that uses a font style you dislike (E.g.: Comic Sans) you will be more critic. Use it when correcting your own essays and you’ll end up with a better results.
If you’re taking notes on the computer that you’re going to print later be sure to use a simple, beautiful and neat font style that avoids your eyes from getting tired. My personal recommendations: Arial, Arial Narrow, Liberation Serif and Segoe UI Light.
