tbh i hope y'all will get to this level of self love in 2017 and finally be able to achieve the ultimate life goal aka building a fireplace with your own initials and designing plenty of montages of yourself
“Combophotos” is a project featuring clever pairs of pictures spliced into single images, playing with scale—and often food—in delightful ways. It’s the brainchild of Stephen McMennamy, a BBDO Atlanta creative director Via
Some designs from last night’s episode of Moonbeam City that I wanted to share! I also have some more turnarounds to share but will put those in a separate post.
First up is Rad’s outfit montage! I designed his clothes and shoes based on the animatic.
I did the coloring for the steel-toed shoe but the other two shoes were colored by our talented Color Stylist Yvonne Annette Huckell!
I had to listen to Rad’s montage song so many times while checking the animatic. Not that I minded, it’s an adorable song. Speaking of the animatic! I added a quick gif showing that very scene boarded by the awesome Gabriel Lee! Check out his tumblr for more! http://gahyo.tumblr.com/
Next up is the nameless Costume Lady! The note was to make her seem a little eccentric. I wanted her to look tacky and I’m glad I got to put an 80′s shirt clip SOMEWHERE in the show.
Lastly it’s one of Sizzle’s fangirls followed by Mayor Eo Jackson’s right hand man. Both also nameless.
I hit a character designer milestone in this episode by designing characters with speaking roles! Next milestone would be designing characters that actually have names!
