Gwen didn’t know what she was thinking. Only a few days ago, she’d been giving Jim Moriarty a series of passive-aggressive threats. When she said she only wanted to speak to him, it was the honest truth. As much as she’d have liked to see the man responsible for the homemade bombs and their damage locked away, she knew that the rules weren’t the same here… or were they? Her phone was being monitored but she took the risk of sending a private message through her computer to the one person the Pocket would have deemed more of a monster than she was.
If anything, she’d only left herself open to ridicule. At last she’d checked, he and Lucifer were on good terms so it was a long shot, but then he’d agreed. Gwen stood up as soon as she read the reply and looked as dignified as she could under the circumstances: barefoot, disgraced, sleepless and, if Jack was right, slowly going mad. She curled a hand around one of the bars. “Hello?” She called out at the first sign that she wasn’t alone in the station. The cells were upstairs so she wouldn’t have been able to see the entrance and she quickly regretted sounding so hopeful.
new album = new video! Saves The Day’s “Deranged and Desperate” from Daybreak.. though depressingly titled, I promise this song is far from being a mood killer (plus the kids in this video are adorbss!)
