The below comic perfectly represents how the average person responds to people who are suffering with mental illness. If you didn’t feel bad enough already, people behaving like this can make you feel like you’re a burden, which usually only works to fuel any self-hatred that you might have going on. People who behave like this don’t help, they just make it worse. They don’t like the way you make them feel so they want to push you away. They don’t have the ego strength to help so they reject you instead of accepting their own emotional inadequacies….
