Life has its ups and downs, but it is up to us how will handle every situation. Being in a very difficult place in my life recently I was taught that not only I am strong but that I can also come back even stronger. It is like fashion: trends come and go, but somehow they always get back. One trend that is strong once again is denim.
Denim is heavy twill-woven cotton, a natural fiber that absorbs moisture quickly, dries quickly, and has a cooling effect when it is warm. Aside from jeans, anything made in this hard wearing fabric was pretty much the definition of passé until very recently. At the Spring/Summer 2015 shows, designers delved head-first into redefining the fabric, keen to reposition it as on point and stylish, rather than simply something hardy enough to hold together through years of toil. Thanks to Nordstrom we can find them all in just one place. There you can most known brands like J Brand or 7 For All Mankind and more than 2000 denim options for both you and the woman in your life.
But how did denim begin its career? Well, denim is a very old fabric. In the late 1800s, denim trousers typically were worn by male workers. It was Mr Strauss that transformed them at that time as we now know them today.
