I get this question a lot. The answer is simple. It helps me.
Not in the sense that it keeps me Healthy, Keeps me Fit, Keeps me Confident.
Granted it does do all that…but for me its much more.
It keeps my Mind Healthy.
I’m by nature an Over-thinker. I always have been always will be. I have a higher than Average IQ which Causes me to also suffer from light OCD. (Some may notice this when they notice my random Capitalized letters in a Sentence). I dunno why, my mind just tells me it Looks better that way.
But anyways back to where we Were.
You give me a Situation. The Average person may come up with 20 Conclusions. I come up with At Least 300.
My Mind is always going 100 miles a Minute. Im not Psychically Hyper, Just Mentally. This causes me to have severe Insomnia and Crippling Heaches to where I actually Lose my Vision…Just goes Black.
Workout and Listening to Music gives my mind a Break. To me it’s like that First Drink of Water when you have eaten something hot. A relief that I can actually focus on something and stay focused. Helps me Sleep, Helps my Heaches, Helps me Think Clearly after hard day.
That is why I workout. Why do you?
