just asking but full offense, do you guys understand what on screen actors do? like as their jobs? they play roles on tv and in movies with full knowledge that people are going to watch their portrayals of these roles and then form opinions based on what they see. Babying a grown ass man who is skipping ONE event because YOU ASSUME he’s devastated over how a niche chunk of the internet posts memes and jokes about him and his shitty slave owning misogynist character is embarrassing and ridiculous.

Actors know what their jobs entail. Their job is one based on other people’s opinions starting the second they walk into an audition. It never stops, and based on personal experience as well as the experiences of other actors/models/artists in general, there is a state of disconnect you have to be able to reach in order to handle an artistic career. This isn’t a post about internet bullying an actor into missing an event and it is not a post speculating on anyone’s talent. this is not a comment on whether or not a line has been crossed.

tldr: I’m literally just curious as to how you stan an actor who you believe can’t handle playing a hated character who he openly defends

You know , I find it absolutely unbelievable how people dislike Mon-El (and for whatever reason hate on Chris Wood for this). Yes , he might be the Prince of Daxam but … look at him now - he is trying , he is really trying his best and maybe for the first time in his life he knows what TRUE HAPPINESS feels like. You can see how devastated he is at the dinner table with his parents and Kara. My heart breaks looking at him being so sad and … broken.
Not to mention that Chris Wood’s dream was to play a superhero and now he sort if is one. Mon-El still has a lot to learn and he is clearly not the same person he was on Daxam. So I think … that everyone should just stop for a moment and give him a chance OK. Give Mon-El a chance and please do NOT hate on Chris Wood because he is absolutely the best !

I am sorry if  you don’t agree with my opinion… but I’ll defend Chris Wood and Mon-El , always and forever. Thank you !

Reboot (the cult classic 90s CGI animated series) is getting a “reboot”

a lot of us who are either old enough or found the series online later remember it as this

Plot: The series follows the adventures of a Guardian named Bob and his companions Enzo and Dot Matrix as they work to keep the computer system of Mainframe safe from the viruses known as Megabyte and Hexadecimal. The setting is in the inner world of a computer system known by its inhabitants as Mainframe. It was deliberately chosen due to technological constraints at the time, as the fictional computer world allowed for blocky looking models and mechanical animation

it was about the secret world inside of computers before the genre of “Secret world inside of (insert technology here)” got overused

well for whatever reason they decided to rip off a couple other franchises instead and gave us this

After playing the multiplayer Cyber Guardians video game together, four teenagers are recruited by V.E.R.A (Hannah Vandenbygaart, Bruno & Boots: Go Jump in the Pool!), the Virtual Evolutionary Recombinant Avatar, to fulfill their mandate to mend and defend cyberspace. Austin (Ty Wood, The Haunting in Connecticut), Tamra (Sydney Scotia, Some Assembly Required), Parker (Ajay Parikh-Friese, Mr. Young), and Trey (Gabriel Darku, Shadowhunters: The Mortal Instruments) now must protect cyberspace from threats that pose true consequences to both the virtual and real world. It’s more than these kids expected when they started at Alan Turing High. Way more

let me list off three things this is ripping off

Power Rangers (any season)

or the one show that many people seemingly don’t even remember

VR Troopers

that was basically Power Rangers but with computers and Virtual Reality  and other junk that kids and media execs in the 90s didn’t quite understand well enough yet

listen here, i will defend and support chris wood until i’m blue in the face, i’ll probably be on my death bed and the last words i manage to choke out will probably be something like “protect actual angel chris wood!!!”

anonymous asked:

so do you call out mehcad brooks too since he defended casey affleck after his oscar win? and said that he paid legally for sexually harassing those 2 women?

i love how this implies you can not call someone out without calling everyone out… way to excuse nasty behavior… so I’m supposed to feel guilty for not calling EVERYONE out and shut up about someone fucking up? lmao why call out someone who fucks up when you can not call anyone out… yes that sounds like some nice logic there, buddy

anonymous asked:

if on another runthrough of DS3, you meet someone with the wolf knight's greatsword, shield, and armorset, that might be me, defending the woods like Artorias himself

but if you see ornstein!

let him pass!
