Have we ever discussed the fact that 2001 - 2012 Disney channel’s shows all had strong female leads, with the exception of Zack and Cody but they had a black man in charge, a smart poor white blonde girl and a dumb rich Asian so still beautifully diverse.

Disney was 100% female empowerment and showed diversity. Who did they employ to create the shit they have today?

Disney Channel Original Series Opening Titles (Part 1 2 3)

How I would fix Disney Channel

-Remove reruns of Liv and Maddie, Best Friends Whenever, Austin and Ally, Jessie, Dog with a Blog, Girl Meets World, and Good Luck Charlie. Seriously most of those only ended recently and you can watch them on Netflix or Hulu.
-Keep Disney Junior hours
-After Disney Junior, I would add an animation block that consists of The ZhuZhus, Elena of Avalor, Tangled the Series, Pat the Dog, and Hotel Transylvania: The Series. Descendants: Wicked World, Mickey Mouse 2013, and Star Wars: Forces of Destiny would air between.
-After the animation block, I would air KC Undercover, Bizaardvark, and Bunk’d but only when kids are still at school so kids won’t have to sit through how bad they are
-When kids get home I would air Stuck in the Middle, Andi Mack, and Raven’s Home.
-Every Friday night I would air a Disney animated movie or a DCOM. If a show has new episodes, I would not show a movie, and would air the new eps
In prime time.
-On the weekends only, I would only air reruns of Even Stevens, Phil of the Future, That’s So Raven, Lizzie McGuire, The Suite Life of Zack and Cody, Hannah Montana, Cory in the House, Wizards of Waverly Place, The Suite Life On Deck, Sonny With a Chance, The Proud Family, Kim Possible, Lilo and Stitch the Series, Dave the Barbarian, Brandy and Mr. Whiskers, American Dragon: Jake Long, The Buzz on Maggie, The Emperors New School, and The Replacements. You can’t find these on Netflix or Hulu and they didn’t end recently.

Edmund x Reader: Hidden kisses

Prompt/ask: Hey can I ask for a Edmund x reader where you are Caspian’s twin sister and they fall for each other but Caspian doesn’t like it

Word count: 642

Warnings: None

Setting: VDT

A/N: Sorry if this isn’t exactly what you wanted! I hope you like it regardless.

The air on the Dawn Treader was clear and chilly. You remembered feeling the same breeze on the back of your neck in your distant, murky days spent in Telmar-although those winds were much less extraordinary.

You inhaled sharply, breathing in the crystal draft surrounding you. The Narnian sea was exceptionally lovely at night. It seemed to dance before you, each wave rippling in the most magical and captivating way, forcing you into a trance of its beauty.

“You alright?” A voice inquired tenderly from beside you.

You clearly didn’t seem to notice when Edmund came up to join you on the deck; most of the crew had already gone to bed.

Edmund always seemed to be there-not that you were complaining. The boy had something about him that captured your interest almost instantly, something that welcomed your presence. Maybe it was those questioning eyes, that messy hair, that soft-spoken tone…or maybe it was just Edmund. You had only just met the young King, and yet you felt as if you had known him for an eternity.

You nodded slowly, averting your gaze from the waters to Edmund’s soft brown eyes, hidden mostly by the dark.

“I just needed some air.” You said, barely moving your lips as you did so. Edmund nodded, seemingly in understanding. He leaned over the edge of the deck, looking out into the vast water-mass you had just been admiring.

“Lovely, isn’t it?” He suggested thoughtfully. You remained silent, watching him.
“Did you have oceans like this in Telmar? Well, I suppose, Narnia.” He let out a small, nervous laugh. “Uh-you and Caspian grew up together in Telmar however, am I correct? Before you, I mean-” Edmund murmured, fumbling over his words a little.

You chuckled, playing with a strand of loose hair that had fallen into your eyes. “Edmund, I only knew my brother for a mere month of my childhood before we were separated.” You said casually, pausing to lean back away from the side of the deck. “We had the chance to reconnect about a week before the Dawn Treader set sail, actually.”

Edmund nodded, breathing in. The two of you remained silent for a moment, taking in the feeling of the swaying ship and the increasingly chilly air.

“Oh, look!” Edmund announced suddenly, breaking the silence. In the dark, you could make out the form of him gesturing towards the sky.

Sure enough, as you glanced towards the heavens, you could see a blanket of constellations. It was nothing like you had ever seen before-never in your entire life.

They weren’t very luminous-you had to look directly up at the sky to catch their light-but they were magnificent. Paintings of centaurs and lions filled the canvas of the sky, showering the stars from each constellation below into your stunned eyes.

“…wow.” Was all you could muster, so astounded by the images before you.

“Aren’t they wonderful?” Edmund asked softly.

You felt him move closer to you, his breathing pace increasing ever-so-slightly. His breath was so close to your neck you could feel the heat radiating off of your skin.

Edmund paused, his fingertips brushing against your waist and his lips grazing across your ear.

“Can I kiss you?” He muttered in what was almost a low growl.

“Edmund! What in Holy Aslan are you doing to my sister?”

Edmund flinched, releasing you immediately and facing Caspian with a dumbfounded expression.

Caspian, who was glaring at Edmund in utter disgust, was standing in the small threshold where the steps leading to the cabins were. He appeared to be holding what looked to be a wooden cup.

“Caspian-” You started, almost close to laughter. Before you could finish, the cup was flying past your ear and into Edmund’s face.

It seemed like you would have to find some more creative kissing spots.

Hey Mark, I am going to ask until you respond :) How can it be in nearly 25 yrs of MtG that there is still no tribal Angel deck viable. Is there a chance we will see more playable Angels at lower cmc ti finally create one?

I’m not sure what your definition of “viable” is. I’ve seen a lot of Angel decks over the years, so people are making them, playing them and having fun with them.

One of the many things that Steve had to get use to the idea of waking up seventy years in the future was women. It was still a foreign concept to him; even after the serum he generated a lot of female attention. But when he was the skinny kid from Brooklyn he had Bucky to take the role of womanizer. Steve liked to think he had a type when it came to the opposite sex. Someone who was strong and independent, someone who wasn’t afraid to stand up for what was right, maybe that’s why he fell for Peggy all those years ago. But he missed his chance making the decision to put the fait of the word before his and Peggy’s. Now he had a new team of hero’s to look out for and that included you.

How I got revenge against a compulsive cheater.

(warning: long story)

I apologize for wall-of-text and if this one is a little too technical. This involves a somewhat popular card-based trading game (MTG). I tried to strip out as many unnecessary details as possible to make it easy to read. Plus, I don’t remember them all.

I usually am not the one to take revenge since I’m risk-averse. However, in this case, I found it was the most logical thing to do since I knew ahead of time that the other guy was going to try and screw me.

There was this fellow in my high school. His name was David. He was one grade above me and he was a complete a**hole, a compulsive liar and a compulsive cheater.

Often times during lunch hour, students would get together at the tables to play card games and such. I usually got involved in these games as well. David did too, but not as often.

I (sort of) understand not putting the set's planeswalkers in the PW decks, but is there any chance of at least a previous version rather than the nerfed copies that go in now?

The planeswalkers are designed specifically for a more appropriate first game experience.

Marmiting Captain
When this card is Normal Summoned: You can shuffle 1 card from your hand into the Deck, then draw 1 card, then you can Special Summon it if it is a monster.
Can Be Found In: Secrets of Eternity (SECE-EN043)

Many drawing effects are highly valued regardless of any risks or heavy costs they might require. Obtaining new cards is obviously valuable to achieve most goals or gather various options to confront the opponent’s, so if that means to lose other cards or paying certain requeriments it will make it worth it. Even though some drawing effects are quite restrictive, you often obtain a positive outcome from them.

“Marmiting Captain” is a monster that provides a very simple drawing effect with an extra advantage with a bit of luck. When Normal Summoned, “Marmiting Captain” allow us to shuffle back to our Deck a card in our hand to draw a new one. Then, if the drawn card is a Mosnter, we have the option to immediately Special Summon it to our field. The drawing effect is already decent enough to trade some dead cards and obtain better options for the occasion, but the chances to summon a monster we just obtained it can pull out some powerful outcomes under the right build.

Although highly supported by being a Warrior, “Marmiting Captain” restricts himself due his effect requiring a Normal Summon. We can easily obtain him with the help of cards like “Reinforcement of the Army” adding him to our hand or “Field-Commander Rahz” placing him on top of our Deck, but any other options will be to be Special Summon him with the assistance of effects like “Marauding Captain” or Pendulum Summon and lose his effect in the process. On the other hand, when comes to  "Marmiting Captain" being in our Graveyard things change thanks to “Crane Crane”, allowing us to constantly revive him by running several copies and thus preparing cheap Extra Deck summons if needed in late game.

As a drawing effect, “Marmiting Captain” is a solid effect overall. If we have a card on hand with no use at the moment we can trade it away for a new one, and even if we don’t draw a  Monster for his additional effect is still a reliable ability to obtain new options. Due “Marmiting Captain” shuffling our Deck before his effects goes through we cannot use rearranging effects such as “Gishki Chain” or “Spellbook Organization”, leaving completely up to how we create a Deck to increase the chances of drawing a monster. Fortunately many builds are able to run a huge quantity of monsters to the point of not needing Spells or Traps, such as the Superheavy Samurai archetype or builds arround “Gallis the Star Beast” working along monsters like “Swift Scarecrow” and “Mimimic” to cover various situations. With just a bit of luck, “Marmiting Captain” will go from summoning other monsters to work as materials of all kinds of big summons, to bringing huge monsters without any effort required.

“Marmiting Captain” relies on absolute luck to obtain the outcomes we wish for, but is a solid drawing effect nonetheless. Drawing a monster can go from gathering materials to summoning some of our best creatures in the Deck, but won’t be that bad to obtain a new Spell or Trap Card otherwise as they still are valuable outcomes. If we want “Marmiting Captain” full effect there are some builds that considerably increases the odds of drawing a monster, but just using him to trade away useless card at the moment won’t be less useful in comparison. “Marmiting Captain” gambles away the card we shuffle in our Deck to obtain a powerful ability, but is still a solid monster even if we don’t obtain the effect we were looking for.

Personal Rating: B+

+ Allow us to shuffle a card in our hand to draw a new one
+ If we draw a monster by his effect we will be able to Special Summon it
+ Various builds to considerably increase the chances of drawing a monster

- Barely supported since must be Normal Summoned for his effect
- Relies on luck as is impossible to manipulate his effect’s outcome
