daft punk discography appreciation:Tron: Legacy (4/5) released: December 3rd, 2010
“Obviously Tron is a huge influence, artistically for them. We’ve been working on the music for, almost, three years now. And it’s something really new for you Daft Punk fans out there, this is gonna be something completely new and different. It’s a mix of orchestral music, electronic, granular sound. It’s all blended together.” - Joseph Kosinski [x]
One of the most known multirole fighters of the world is here, yes, it’s the McDonnell Douglas F/A-18E/F Super Hornet.
This beast of an aircraft is a twin engine, multirole, carrier-based fighter with one seat for the E variant and a tandem-seat for the F variant. The Super Hornet was developed from the F/A-18 Hornet, it is bigger and more advanced, one of it’s features is the capacity to carry 5 external fuel tanks and be configured to act as an airborne tanker with the addition of an external aerial refueling system.
It also has an internal 20mm M61 rotary cannon and can carry air-to-air, air-to-ground and anti-ship missiles as well as bombs, the newest weapons in the US Navy can be installed on the Super Hornet including the AIM-9X Sidewinder, AIM-120D AMRAAM, AGM-154 Joint Standoff Weapon (JSOW), AGM-158 Joint Air-to-Surface Standoff Missile (JASSM), AGM-84 Harpoon, Long Range Anti-Ship Missile (LRASM), JDAM and others.
The Super Hornet entered service in 1999 with the United States Navy (USN) to replace the F-14 Tomcats which was fully retired in 2006, it currently serves alongside the F/A-18C Hornet. The Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) also operates F/A-18A Hornets but in 2007 the Super Hornet was ordered to replace the older F-111C the RAAF Super Hornets entered service in December 2010.
It’s capacity and technological advancements makes the Super Hornets be one of the most efficient and effective carrier-based multirole aircraft in the world.

Taehyung huffed in exasperation. He looked ridiculous. Absolutely, certifiably ridiculous. He had purposely chosen to dye his hair this obnoxiously vibrant shade of red for the very simple fact that he didn’t want to wear the damn ears and tail in the first place. But his best friend being The Indomitable and Resourceful Park Jimin, Taehyung really shouldn’t have been surprised that he would find the fuzziest appendages possible that just so happened to perfectly match his new hair color. Honestly, Taehyung was beginning to question why he even considered the impish little brat a friend when he so often and so willingly broke their most sacred Best Friends Blood Oath and Spit Pact of December 2010.
He glared at his reflection once again, eyes stuck on the unnaturally “cute” ears peeking out from his tousled coppery locks. There was no way in hell he was going to go live looking like this. Nope, nuh uh. Kim Taehyung was willing to do a lot of things for his loyal fans–and had done a good chunk—except look unreasonably absurd. With another loud huff, he batted at the stupid triangles before snatching his phone off his bed to angrily tap at his best friend’s contact information.

“You don’t have to call and remind me that you’re there. I’ll never forget you.” This cuts as deeply as it soothes. Though, that late night phone call, for the record, was merely an accident. Anyways- I don’t respond. So many things come to mind, but none can be delivered fairly. I’m not sure when I became so infatuated with the “fair”, the “unnecessary”, or the “futile”, but my sudden respect for these things has effectively shoved an entire marching band worth of limbs into my mouth. I guess what I was hoping to say, in the easiest way, is yes, I have made my choice, and it is one I have fought for. One that I can not, and will not escape. Even though those hands which I have chosen to slip my fingers through are not yours, it does not mean that they never did find warmth in you. It was easy, fearful, stubborn will that made me shrivel up, and for that, there is no correct apology. What we have tasted will remain in the small crevices of my mouth. Like under-chewed grain, you sit on a throne of irritated molars. Sure, I have attempted to rinse these pieces away, but it was half hearted. And everyone knows, one half of anything, is never enough.
