As a bona fide crazy cat lady it was only so long until I was compelled to make a cute kitty of some kind. I’ve previously made Luna and Artemis dolls in the Pokemon style, but wanted to do something with a bit more of an animal shape. I had a custom order last year for a cat character that gave me the perfect oppurtunity!
Meet Ser Pounce-a-Lot! The original custom order had tiny little armour as well, but this is just the plain ol’ cat version, since it’s a little less time consuming. I also remade Luna and Artemis using the same style, and am thinking about trying out a Jiji next!
This pattern is super simple, though sometimes creating the small tube-like legs and tail can be a bit of a pain. Find the pattern below the cut!
So, another weird thing happened. Kyungsoo, who was avoiding interactions with Kai since June, as I said in previous posts, suddenly became Kyungsoo from January. Kyungsoo who can’t take his hands off of Jongin, who is jealous the moment Jongin talk or touch someone else. As usual when Kai was interacting with Taemin Kyungsoo was following them. When they were receiving an award and bowing while holding hands, Kyungsoo immediately grabbed Jongin’s hand.
For short time it seemed like Kai is angry about something and Kyungsoo is trying to steal his attention, to make sure everything is alright. When Kai touched Sehun’s hand, Kyungsoo immediately looked at their hands and seemed very pensive.
When they were taking photos, you can see that Lay, who usually stands between them is between Chen and Xiu, while Kyungsoo puts his hands around Kai. What’s interesting is the fact that Lay is trying to go back to his usual place. He is stepping out and back like he doesn’t know what to do. My theory is that when they took their places, Kyungsoo deliberately put his hand on Kai’s shoulder and didn’t let Yixing stand between them.
Then backstage, when they were recording a message after the have won, Kyungsoo just grabbed Kai by his shoulder and arm. You can se in the back, that Suho is doing exactly the same thing to Lay. (We all know he’s just trying to show they all are doing it all the time).
And on the airport back from Hong Kong, Kyungsoo was holding on to Kai’s waist. He haven’t done such things since early summer. What happened then? We all know that Kyungsoo was only avoiding Kai in the public. We have a lot of fanacounts where Kyungsoo was holding Kai’s hand in the dark, before Kai’s solo dance during concert or how he was asking for Kai’s cup, when buying cafe at SUM. But suddenly he is out open about him and Kai again. The question is why. Well, maybe we will find out very soon. :)
If anyone is ever feeling lonely and wants to spend some quality time with Amy Poehler, or if you’re just in the mood to have some sunshine in your life, here is a (hopefully) helpful list of clips, interviews, and bits and bobs from YouTube.
The date beside each video is when it was published onto YouTube, not necessarily when it took place. There’s no way this list can include every video clip of Amy ever, but hopefully it is an awesome collection (e.g. I didn’t include all of her SNL skits because the list would go on forever). Feel free to let know if any of the links aren’t working/don’t match up and I will fix it. Enjoy ~
Here are a couple of pics from the Radio Times 30th Dec 1972 to 5 January 1973 for “The Three Doctors” Check out the blurb in the first pic by Carole Ann Ford about Susan. The second pic shows her, Katy Manning and Frazer Hines doing a photoshoot for this RT issue.
Best books on gays in space or gays who time travel
*insert caveat here that I almost never read books set in space or time travel books so “Best” is based on other people’s recommendations* *Also that while AFAIK all of these books have same-sex relationships, I don’t know that they all have characters who specifically ID as gay - don’t know how literally you mean that*
Sound by Alexandra Duncan 27 Hours by Tristina Wright (out Oct 3, and also I don’t know if anyone literally IDs as gay in it? But there are a lot of queer characters)
If set in a mining colony counts, check out Deep Deception by Cathy Pegau. And for some more gender-spectrum stuff in space/time travel, check out The Unintentional Time Traveler by Everett Maroon and The Left Hand of Darkness by Ursula K. LeGuin.
