dean won

anonymous asked:

Sam looks forward to the weekly shopping trip as he goes with Dean and Cas, as family, even if they are embarrassing. Every week without fail Cas ends up doing something that makes Dean laugh loudly and turn heads. This week it was by pressing a toy that sings and dances. "It said 'press me' so I pressed it!" "Dean stop laughing it won't stop dancing"

I love this! And you know when Dean finally stops laughing and Cas looks away, he’s gonna be looking at Cas with that fond, affectionate look in his eyes

In detail .. how would you have Destiel go canon?

Detail?

Like, I imagine Cas knows…he’s in love with Dean, thinks Dean won’t be down so he keeps it under wraps but, he’s told someone and the information just…gets out.

And Dean is sort of furious and baffled and like, kinda yelling. “You…Love me? Me? Are you…sure?”

“Yes, Dean, very sure.”

“Okay.”

“Okay?”

“Okay. I love you too let’s not make a thing out of it, we’ll fuck when we’re home.”

“Okay.”

And Sam’s just there having an anyeurism.

Sam's face and Dean's heart

Sam is hurting too. He just lost a brother.

But there’s a potentially world-ending, apocalypse-starting antichrist baby in the house who needs to be taken out or taken care of.

He looks at Dean’s face, and knows that Dean won’t follow him inside. That Dean can’t leave Cas now.

He lets Dean have his moment because no matter how much danger they’re in, Dean just lost his love.

Dean told Mary that Azazel killed the girl Sam loved.

Bobby told the boys that Mary tells the story of losing John Winchester, the man she loved.

And Dean Winchester just lost the man he loves.

Dean is going to have to deal with that realization when Cas is resurrected.

just imagine the season 13 premiere starting and opening straight to dean holding cas and still be on his knees not able to move because of his overwhelming shock and depression. sam tries to pull him away a couple hours after it happened, but dean won’t move or leave without cas’ body. later, sam driving the car and dean in the back holding the body still unable to pull himself away, and somehow when cas healed dean he received some of the nephilim’s power and in one moment cas wakes up in deans arms.

Won’t Let Go

Title: Won’t Let Go

Author: deanssweetheart23

Characters: Dean Winchester x reader

Word count: 1063

Warnings: Angst. Mentions of blood and death. Spoilers for the episode 12x22 “Who We Are”. Bit of fluff because let’s be real, we all need this.

Author’s Note: So. The two hour finale. It killed me. And episode 22? Also killed me. Jensen’s acting killed me. I’m just completely dead right now, okay? So, I had to write this because my Deanie Beanie deserves all the love and comfort in the world *clears throat* *pulls herself together*

Right. This is set right after the last scene of the episode, meaning right after that group hug the three Winchesters share. The gif used is not mine. You can find it here

Enjoy <3

The steady sound of running water overwhelmed your senses as you bonked your head against the shower door, washing away worries and fears and that little voice in the back of your mind that told you it was impossible for you to be there, to be back in the bunker again, alive and safe and almost unscathed.

Breathing deeply, in and out, you wrapped yourself around a towel, and got out of the shower slowly, eyes already darting towards the fresh scars and wounds covering your skin.

You should be used to it by now, but the thought of dying, of leaving this world, even in a blaze of glory with Dean and Sam next to you, had scared you more than you’d like to admit.

In and out.

Running your fingers through your hair, you let the towel drop to the floor and reached for your underwear, then slipped into one of Dean’s flannels, mind drifting to him almost intuitively. You’d only seen him for a few moments after you and Sam had returned from your mission, but you could tell that, whatever he’d seen in that dream sequence inside Mary’s head had hurt him. Really hurt him, even though he’d never say that out loud.

And, God, you worried about him.

In and out.

Soon enough, you were in the room you shared with Dean, only to find him sitting on the edge of the bed, holding what you knew was a picture of himself and his mother in hand.

Your heart broke.

“Hi there.” You whispered, leaning against the doorframe.

He looked up then, green eyes lighting up just a bit as he registered your presence.

Dean goes first. It’s their anniversary, and even if his angel husband keeps trying to tell them that the gift-giving portion of the evening isn’t a competition, Dean knows it’s just because Cas always wins. As thoughtful as Dean tries to be, Cas knows what the ex-hunter will love, even if he doesn’t know it himself.

Dean thumbs Cas’s gift inside his pocket. He didn’t bother to wrap it, but he hoped Cas would appreciate it, anyway. Angels, let alone husbands, could be extremely difficult to shop for, and this gift… well, it was a bit of a risk. But, they’d both agreed not to spend money this year, so maybe it would level the playing field a little. Maybe…

So, Dean feels relieved when dinner is over and they are finally relaxed, cuddling on the couch, his Led Zeppelin mix tape playing in the background. At least he’d gotten that one right…

Dean’s clears his throat, looking at his handsome husband, blue eyes crinkled at the sides with the start of a smile.

“Cas,” he says, getting lost for a second, then, reaching in his pocket, he pulls out the small object.

“I didn’t wrap it,” Dean says, unable to look at Cas, though his cheeks are heating up, because, even after five years of marriage, sentimentality still makes him want to polish his guns for an hour. Even if he secretly loves these moments more than anything else.

So, unceremoniously, Dean sets the gift on the table in front of Cas, licking his lips in anticipation. And, he’s watching Cas’s face like a car crash waiting to happen, his heart thumping to the rhythm of: “you should have gotten a better gift, now I’m going to pump every vein in your body with anxiety.”

Cas leans forward. His mouth falls open, and there’s a look in his eyes. It’s brief, but Dean knows. He knows he got the right gift. And Cas is smirking. He picks up the key, shakes his head, then full-on-laughs.

“Only took you five years to give me my own set,” said Cas. Then, he reaches over and kisses Dean deeply, nearly knocking him off the couch.

Dean smiles, looking at Cas’s face, wondering why he didn’t do this sooner, because he thought he’d never been happier than at this very moment. And he can see what it means to Cas. Cas catches him staring, and Dean clears his throat.

“No taking her on gravelly roads,” the ex-hunter says gruffly. “And keep her tank above half.”

Cas smiles again at the key to the impala:

“Thanks, baby. It’s perfect.”

Dean leans back, putting both his hands behind his head in satisfaction: “So,” he says, “I won the anniversary, huh?”

But Cas is smiling mischievously as he pulls out his gift, which is wrapped ornately with an obnoxious bow on top. And Cas is smiling proudly as he places it on Dean’s lap.

Dean sees how excited the angel is to have him open the gift. The ex-hunter looks at the key to the impala on the table, biting his lip, then at Cas again.

“Damn,” he says. He hasn’t even opened the gift, and already he can tell, he’s lost.

Black and White (Part 1)

Dean convinces Cas not to turn him in, and sparks fly.

But what happens when Cas appears to be involved with a rival group? Can Dean trust him at all? Or does Cas already know enough to ruin him?

A/N: Feedback appreciated! This is an AU that’s a little different, so I hope y’all enjoy this one!

There’s nothing left to do for the day, and Dean’s just about to lock up when a woman walks in, walking briskly and looking a little flustered, like most people who’ve just had unexpected car trouble.

“And what can I do for you?” Dean asks, eyeing her as she sets her purse on the counter. Pretty, but a little too upscale for his taste, with her manicured nails and name-brand everything.

Today had been a particularly rough day. You felt like you were suffocating in the bunker and the boys just wouldn’t let up. Boredom took over as it often did whenever they there was no vampires to decapitate or rugarus to immolate; and whenever you tried to lock yourself away in your room to read a book or showed any sign whatsoever that they were getting on your nerves, they pressed, and pressed, and pressed.

Dean would dodge the several random objects you threw his way, and Sam would sass your ears off. No matter how old the boys were, they never grew up. Which, you didn’t really mind except for the part where they wouldn’t leave you the hell alone.

The first fight they have after they are officially together surprises Dean. He isn’t even aware that Cas is angry with him. Sure, Cas has been a little quiet all day, but that isn’t so unusual that Dean had worried. It catches him totally off guard when Cas finally turns to him as they are undressing for bed, crosses his arms, and sticks his chin out.

“Are you going to apologize?”

Dean opens and closes his mouth once before answering. “What?” It’s all he can come up with, because he honestly has no idea what’s going on.

“You don’t even know you forgot, do you?”

“Forgot what?”

Cas narrows his eyes accusingly. “You forgot that I’ve been living with you for exactly one month today.”

Dean shakes his head. “Cas, you’ve been in and out of the bunker since we found it. You stayed here a long time before we got together.”

“No,” Cas uncrosses his arms and balls his fists at his sides. It’s not remotely threatening, just a way to ease his frustration, and Dean has to hide a smile at his pissed off angel. “Living here. In your room.”

Oh.

“Was I…were we supposed to celebrate that?”

Cas sticks his chin out even further. Dean’s never seen him truly pout before, and it’s partly completely adorable and partly ridiculous, and Dean loves both sides. “Don’t humans celebrate things like that?”

Dean lets his smile show. “I guess they do.”

“You forgot,” Cas says again, a little softer now that the fight’s gone out of him.

Dean watches as Cas pulls on one of his old t-shirts, his dark hair sticking up everywhere. His blue tie hangs over the back of Dean’s chair, and his angel blade hangs with Dean’s weapons.

“Hey,” Dean says, stepping forward and wrapping his arms around Cas. Cas doesn’t hug him back, but he does rest his chin on Dean’s shoulder. “I’m sorry. I didn’t know this was a big deal.”

Cas sighs heavily and scoots a little closer, and Dean knows he’s won.

“I’m really glad you’re here,” he tells him. “Really glad you’re with me.” Dean doesn’t have to try at all to sound like he means it. Everything he feels is right there in his voice.

Cas nods and finally hugs him back. “Let’s go to bed,” he smiles.

“You’re really cute when you’re mad,” Dean grins as they lie down.

Cas snuggles into Dean’s chest, nose rubbing against his neck. “Shut up.”

Your name: submit What is this?

You sighed and leaned back against the headboard of the motel bed. It was quiet except for the mumbling of the random show on the TV. You weren’t even watching, you just put it on to break the silence, as you weren’t really used to it. The other day, Dean won some extra cash by hustling pool, and you all decided to splurge it on a second motel room, since well, it gets kind of crowded when you’re three and share one room. You had expected Dean to take the room by himself and leave you and Sam to share, not that you would question it, it was his money. But, he didn’t. Instead, to your surprise, he decided to be generous and gave you the room.

Even though it was a lot more spacious and not as warm, you still felt a bit odd being alone. Although, you appreciated the act. You really did, it was sweet of him.

Soon, you lied down on top of the bed, not even bothering to take off your clothes. You were quite exhausted from today’s, well yesterday’s — since it was past midnight — salt and burn. And that was probably the only reason you were able to sleep in that empty motel room.

You jolted awake by the loud sound. It took you a split second to place it, your heart hammering against your ribs. Gunshot. It was a gunshot. You flew off your bed onto your feet, confused. The noise was so loud you could have sworn it was in your room, but no, you were still alone. You were practically trembling because of the adrenaline pumping through your system. You were confused about the empty room, until you remembered why. But then, you were confused where the sound had come from until your realized that it must’ve come from the room next door. And who camped out there? Your brothers.
