Wowwie, what’s this now? a new style?? Yeah so I’ve really, REALLY wanted to have a cuter, simpler and overall easier style that I could have more fun drawing and doodling in…. aaand I’ve sort of fallen in love with what I ended up with. So here’s some of the quick doodles I did to test the style out!
there is nothing more beautiful to me than a relationship portrayed on tv as something rooted purely in friendship and understanding and just a mutual respect of one another. Something where two people can always rely on each other, can make each other laugh, can be their best and worse selves around each other and not feel ashamed. Something healthy and realistic and honest and not depicted as an “epic true love” that is toxic and harmful and only ever requires sacrifice. there is absolutely nothing more beautiful than watching healthy relationships develop and grow and become even better.
The aesthetic of the doctor is A+. I really love it especially that it kicks out of the cliche with the actual buffed body build. His animation in both stance is great and gives a strong characteristic to him additionally (his stun noise is legendary I love it). I know a lot of people cry about it but personally? I think its awesome and brings something new into it - refreshing.
And alas Jake is my main and my favourite survivor, I rightfully keep him as my subject for everything related to this fandom (just wait til I get to the mori-train). This fandom needs more art of him tho, y’all never draw Jake, shame on you people!
Ps; The doc can mori me anytime. His mori fascinates me (my second fav after nurse mori), and yet nobody morid me with him… yet. :|
Impatiently waiting response from work so I can progress with it while dealing with heavy rl health issues in family I just wanted to relax and fill out time and as I had this concept in my mind forever… it was a good theme to work with. Alas as Jake is my favourite survivor + his calm spirit perk was perfect opportunity to play out this concept.
I loved the concept art images of the “world” with collapsing edges as the Entity only put together enough to cover a trial not more and not less, but obviously gamewise putting walls were more sensible. Yet I like the idea of this “loop” where no matter how far the survivors wander from the campfire when there is no trial all they find is nothing, as there is no escape. And as the devs hinted the crows not real crows but more like eyes of the Entity… this happened.
