de zayas

Devote your attention to this piece and its movement will find you. A tremor of the lamp curtain, a finger curls tighter, change in the hundred year old glances.

This photo, along with a discussion in my poetry class today (and the ambien I took a bit ago to quell my sleep problems), has brought me to believe that ghosts exist in many many spaces, far beyond our comprehension.

Paul Burty Haviland, Portrait de groupe (superpositions), De Zayas, Picabia, between 1913/ 1915.
