It’s official: Gal Gadot will return for a Wonder Woman sequel which has gotten a date from Warner Bros.

The follow-up to this year’s superheroine film will hit theaters on December 13, 2019.

Talks with the Wonder Woman director Patty Jenkins are ongoing.

The Wonder Woman stand-alone is holding better than any superhero film in more than 15 years at the North American box office. It has grossed more than $385 million at the domestic box office to date and is expecting to pass Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 Saturday.

Zack Snyder's future at Warner Bros.' DC movies: Limited at best, dunzo at worst
"Suicide Squad" director David Ayer's future at the studio is also in question.

This is What I Want in a DC vs MARVEL fight

DC: So I gonna make a wonder woman movie as inspiration for girls who wants a superhero role model.

MARVEL: Well I gonna make a Black Panther movie as inspiration for black kids who wants a superhero role model.

DC: My next movie gonna be Gotham City Sirens with bisexual Catwoman, Lesbian Poison Ivy and her pansexual girlfriend Harley Quinn.

MARVEL: I… finally gonna give Captain America a boyfriend, Steve and Bucky would be the first bisexual superhero couple.

DC: the holy trinity confirmed in a polyamorous relationship Bruce x Clark x Diana

What I get…

MARVEL: Captain America is  a Nazi, Magneto is Nazi… everyone is nazi!! support a misogynistic director and made our heroines look only sexy.

DC: hmm maybe supergirl (TV version a feminist icon) needs a misogynistic relationship… make fun of the F/F fans and be nazi

This is just your daily reminder

That Gal Gadot has never ‘supported the Palestinian genocide’.

Does not have a rifle with the notch marks of all those she’s killed.

And has stated outright that she believes in coexistence.

She worked as a fitness instructor, never seeing combat during her mandatory stint in the Israeli army (IDF), and the only thing she said was that she wished luck to her former colleagues in the army (you know, the equivalent of ‘Support Our Troops’) and specifically wished them luck against (and condemned) Hamas, which is a terrorist organization.  Her tags then went on to note #stopterror and #coexistance.

You don’t have to like her, or Wonder Woman, or DC, but if you could keep the antisemitism out of it, that’d be great.

You Aren't Imagining It, 'Wonder Woman' Isn't Being Well Promoted
With only a month and change to go, Warner Bros. seems to have little interest in promoting 'Wonder Woman.'

“Be a champion for Diana. Tell your friends the movie comes on June 2, 2017. Buy tickets. Show up. Because right now Warner Bros. is trying — intentionally or not — to bury the Amazon Princess and it’s up to us to make sure they fail.“

Fuck this noise. I’m going to be there opening weekend. And probably going multiple times like I did for “Ghostbusters” last year.
