Hii, I love your blog so much, and your pupcake fanfics are amazingg! I found one then had to fnd them ALL lol. So I wondered if you could recommend any other pupcake fics/writers to check out? If you don't mind. Thank youu!!

Hey anon! Thank you so so much, that’s really kind of you to say, and I’m so happy you enjoyed them!! :)

There are tons of good ctm fics, but I’ve been so busy lately I haven’t read or written much, so my recs are for kind of older fics:

If you like AUs my two absolute favourites are Passing the Panty by @katemckutie and The Anatomy of Techno by @patience-elizabeth-mount; both are well-written, so so much fun to read, and seamlessly transfer the characters to a new setting.

For proper vintage-setting, my favourites are The Hands I Used to Touch and Little Things Mean a Lot, both by the talented @waytooinvested; they’re especially good if you feel that the scraps of pupcake scenes and occasional slightly-rushed storylines might be told better over a longer period of time.

If anyone wants to add some recs for anon (and me!), please do :)

just did the calculations and Melkor was imprisoned for ~2,875 years when he was first imprisoned

also the Years of the Trees lasted 5000 Valian Years, which is 5,315,000 of our years.

the elves awakened during Y.T 1,050 which means the First Elves are about 4,309,100 years old. The Great Journey began Y.T 1,105.

also really interesting to me1!:

“Oromë guided the Eldar north of the Sea of Helcar, passing under the smoke of the ruined Ered Engrin. Some Eldar fled in fear, and disappeared from history, perhaps merging back with the Avari. Later the host passed through a great forest (the Greenwood), on the path where later was the Dwarf Road, and then long waited at the shores of a Great River Anduin while Oromë sought a way to get them over the Hithaeglir mountains, which were much higher in those days.By Y.T. 1115 Oromë returned, having found (or forged) the High Pass (where later was built Rivendell)”

Monday 8:27am
I woke up with you on my mind.
You called me babe last night —
my heart is still pounding.

Tuesday 10:53pm
Today I realized we won’t work.
What we are is hurting her.
And I think she matters more to me than you do.

Wednesday 11:52pm
I broke things off with you today.
She barely said a word.
I’ve never regretted anything more than this.

Thursday 4:03pm
I shouldn’t have sent that message.
You shouldn’t have been so okay with receiving it.

Friday 9:57pm
I almost messaged you today.
I didn’t.

Saturday 8:49pm
I’m walking around town in search of alcohol.
They say that liquor numbs the pain of having a broken heart.
I want to put that to the test.

Sunday 2:32am
I heard you texted a girl you’ve never spoken to before.
I wonder if it’s because you’re trying to replace me.
I can’t help but wish you weren’t.
I thought I was irreplaceable.
