I found it amazing how both actresses, Winona Ryder and Kate Walsh, did really good in playing a mother going through pain from losing her child, it just proves how great both actresses are, they where really able to express the pain and make those who where watching feel/understand the pain

I found this list posted on twitter by Teenage Fanclub’s very own Norman Blake who was pointing out that the guy who recorded all these acts was heavily involved in the new Teenage Fanclub album.

So not being able to resist ephemera from the Glasgow music scene of teh early 80s I had a look and among the pop legends of the era such as Aztec Camera, Orange Juice and The Bluebells there was also the less acclaimed Dreamboys!

The guy is called Davy Henderson and as the list shows he recorded The Dreamboys on 3 occasions in 1980/81. A bit of hunting around on the internet also reveals that he was a member of Glasgow band The Fire Engines which Peter name-checked in a fan encounter video with the band “The Safety Fire” at Glasgow Central station back in 2013.

                          oh my dollar valentine results

ok first of all i want to thank u all?? i didn’t expect such a big turnout. if you’re not included in this list you either: a) submitted as yourself, not your muse; b) don’t have a teenager muse; or c) don’t have a teenager verse.

i just want this to be a reminder that this event does not give you permission to break peoples’ rules, or force ships onto others. if another mun does not want to plot, or thread based on this, whatever! don’t bother them. it was literally all just based off a dumb survey.  it’s not a real muse matchmaker. :p

lastly, i know not everyone who wanted to participate got to! i’m so sorry for that. i realized that if i kept adding people after i’d already started summing everything it would make my life infinitely more difficult. if anyone wants to host a similar event in the future, i won’t hold it against you.

now, below the cut is your muse’s top 5 results, in order of how well the muses matched. your muse may be mentioned in multiple persons’ results.

Nectarine No. 9 - This Arsehole’s Been Burned Too Many Times Before  (1994)

When Alan Horne tried to revive Postcard Records in the early 90s, he released several LPs by Davy Henderson’s (Fire Engines, Win) new band Nectarine No. 9.  Nonetheless, I wouldn’t say that Nectarine No. 9 has much in common with Orange Juice or even Josef K; they are filthier, more acerbic and twisted. That said, this is still a pop song with a memorable hook and guitar parts that zigzag over and around the melody.

Your ass has lost its flavor
