Just came across top photo viewing images for my next fanfiction. The baby is Zoe Stevens, Dan’s daughter. Can you believe the ersemblance with the little tyke who played George? They could be brother and sister.
Clark's birthday Bruce buys him a ipad, because he knows he loves reading/so they can facetime each other when not together. Clark gushes over the technology: how he can keep in contact with his parents + the apps Clark is addicted to. Bruce soon 'regrets' this as their nights spent together results in Clark insisting it's his last level and Bruce is just "Just lower the brightness Clark! You can probably see it anyway!" "How?" "Swipe the bottom-No not like that" "Then how?" "Goddamit clark"
So sorry this took forever! Life has been weird and whatnot. Hope you don’t mind I actually tweaked the prompt just a little… and I also feel like I should just warn that there’s a spoiler for Downton Abbey season 3 in here (because that’s the sort of thing that happens in my fics)
It had never been easy buying presents for Clark, not when they were just friends and certainly not since they had begun this relationship. But when Clark’s birthday rolled around (and he said he didn’t “want or need a gift”), the idea of an iPad Air occurred to Bruce. Clark really did need one, so he could read on the go… and they’d be able to FaceTime when they weren’t able to be together.
“This is too much,” Clark protested as he unwrapped the Apple package.
“Nonsense,” Bruce replied. “It’s merely a matter of convenience. You’ll be able to write, read whatever you want without carrying a stack of books with you… keep in touch with your parents or… whoever.”
Clark nodded. “Mm. And have I not been spending enough time with whoever?”
Bruce sighed. “Do you like the present or not? I can take it back and get you, I don’t know, a novelty tie or a pair of bowling shoes or something.”
“Smartass,” Clark replied. “And yes, I like it. I love it, thank you. I still think it’s too much, but…”
Bruce reached for Clark’s hand and simply said, “You’re welcome.”
