“I hope people aren’t disappointed by the end, but there’s one point in the finale that myself and Melissa [McBride, who plays Carol] were reading as we sat next to each other on a plane, and both of us kind of screeched when we got to this one point. It’s such a sexy moment, on all levels – it’s huge, it’s just so lovely. And both of us, when we got to the point of reading it, were like: “Oh my God!” Like kids, excited by it. And to still be at that stage seven years into the show is a testament to the writers. It’s about the arrival of a character, and it’s lovely – really lovely.” Lennie James, NME, 2017

Ok I HAVE to say something about this quote from Lennie James, now after watching 7x10 I am really fucking hoping that this part in the script that Melissa and he got so excited over is a sexy Caryl moment. In my opinion I genuinely think that they are talking about a kiss! If this is true I would be so fucking happy that I could die the next day with no regrets I swear….CARYL FOREVER! <3 <3 <3

Melissa McBride answering a Caryl Question at NYCC2016

Norman wasn’t the only one to be interviewed at NYCC2016, Melissa and Lennie were too! Here’s a little bit for now. It’s the Caryl question so we know you’ll love it. We are working in the translation of the whole interview and we will post it soon.

The spanish version, which was shared with us by @herestonevergrowingupal  is here and it is from La Cosa Cine (Argentine magazine).

And the translation:

Q: Melissa, how would you define the relationship between Carol and Daryl?

Melissa: Working with him is wonderful. I cannot define it, nor can I define the relationship between Daryl and Carol. I do not know what they are. I know what they are, I do not know what we think they are but they aren’t (laughs). I do not even know if it’s there, but I do know that they really love and respect each other. There is something beautiful and tacit that was always there, I think that’s precisely why, because they cannot express or define it. If it exists, perhaps if they put a name to it, it’ll disappear. It is something small, beautiful and miraculous that occurred between them and they are very protective, because they live in a world where everything beautiful breaks.

Lennie: What I like the most is that just as Brangelina exists, here it would just be Daryl or Carol.

Melissa: We could be Darol (laughs).

Keep in mind that we are not paid for translating or sharing anything, we love doing it so please, if you want to take it from here, credit us.
