The universe works in mysterious
You’re never the type to try and
figure out the answers to those unanswerable questions, but ever since you were
little, you always held an utter fascination with how everything worked, both
in unison and in discord. You believe that the world is like an unending
stream, one that everyone one is thrown into at birth with no other instruction
other than to stay afloat. From there, the best thing to do, the only thing you
can do, is to let the current carry
you through the long and twisting river until you reach the inevitable edge of
This mindset most likely spawns from
your mother, much like yourself. She often articulated charming stories and
intriguing facts to you throughout your childhood, teaching you all that she
knew in order to make sure that you were growing up with as much ease as you
could, especially since she was raising you alone. With your mother being the
only guardian in your life even to this day, you undeniably find yourself adopting
her way of thinking more often than not.
The greatest lesson you learned is
that the stream knows where to take you, and the world knows how to continue
spinning—all you can do is go with the ebb and flow and hope for the best.
What you didn’t know was that the
world would give you the best at such a young age.

A/N’s: Thank you for the request! I actually don’t know that much about Dark Link but the research I did described it as ‘Link’s dark feelings manifesting’ so I went with that. Anyway, sorry this took so long and hope you like it!
what i absolutely adore about ancient indian scriptures like the mahabharata is how dark, ‘dusky’ skin is portrayed as infinitely beautiful. look at krishna. at satyavati. at draupadi. at arjun.
it feels so amazing to read these in a world where the standard of beauty is white skin. reading these writings almost makes me feel exhilarated, like a child carrying out a rebellious act.

little domestic andreil posts are my life so here we go:
> neil is definitely a tea kinda lad. andrew has his weird coffee combinations with cream and caramel and sprinkles and god knows what, and neil has english breakfast with just a splash of milk and sugar
> sometimes andrew will buy exciting new teas for their flat and refuse to own up to it, neil gets super excited and will sit on the sofa drinking them while andrew reads
> they buy a huge bookcase from ikea and build it together. half of it is packed with sci-fi and fantasy (because lets be real andrew likes books with something magical in them he doesn’t see the appeal of mundane real life stories) and the other half is art books and books in different languages
> neil realises he’s like seriously fucking good at sketches. he doesn’t really do painting or fine art so much, but he teaches himself to draw little comic style versions of the foxes
> so for their birthdays he draws them little cards of themselves which they all love. andrew may or may not secretly have a whole stack of neils scrappy little doodles he’s done on throw away paper saved in a locked draw
> andreil baking together?? in autumn just being cute and cosy and lovely, w out needing to show affection physically
> andrew will always love all black and dressing like an editorial model, whereas neil starts wearing all seasonal colours, so in october its dark greens, rusty oranges and dusky pinks
> the boys not feeling the need to conform to normal relationship ideals and being happy w out them. they love eachother w out saying it or ever needing to bcos they both know
> andrew just sighs when neil comes home with the kittens and goes back to whatever he was doing. neil is grinning whilst sir is climbing up his trouser leg
basically them just being happy and relaxed post tkm
Clean nails tap against the polished mahogany desk as the heavy doors across the room push open.
A man in his early thirties scurries in, dressed as if he works in a corporate headquarters.
“Status update?” The man at the desk asks, ostensibly bored, his accent not lost despite the almost five decades since he made his international move.
“They have Zazel in custody and have officially charged him with Hein’s murder. That, and attempted murder of a witness and witness intimidation.” The shake in the young man’s voice had disappeared ago as he had slowly climbed the ranks of his organization, but with today’s news, it was like it was his first day all over again.
Don’t shoot the messenger didn’t really apply to his boss—a reason he had so quickly moved up the ranks over the years.
The man with black hair far too dark for his age purses his lips at the information.
“And I am to assume Zazel will not be taking any plea bargains.” The man phrases it as a question, though he already knows the answer.
The man takes a deep breath as he leans back in his plush chair.
The heavy-set pit bull that lays in front of a steady-flamed fireplace looks up from its bed as his master’s chair squeaks under his weight.
“And the witness?”
The young man takes quick steps and places a folder gently on the immense desk.
“Y/F/N Y/L/N. Age Twenty-Seven. We know she’s under protective custody of the FBI, specifically with Special Agent Dean Winchester.”
Brown eyes shoot up to his lackey.
“Of course Winchester is involved,” he sighs, his hands coming to rest on his temple. “The boy has been a thorn in my side since the day we killed his mother.” The man slowly opens the file and begins flipping through the information.
“Zazel should have just killed him right then and there,” he hisses to himself, stopping on a picture of you being loaded into a standard FBI SUV, the date stamp from earlier this afternoon.
“And why is she not dead?” He rubs his temple with a sigh.
The young man swallows hard and fidgets with no answer, his lips giving as his boss’ eyes find his.
“Some girl,” he spits, slapping the picture, his voice rising. “Is running around with the man whose sole purpose in life is to bring me down.” He hollers as he stands up, his fingers resting on the desk.
“Can someone explain this to me?” His Scotish voice roars. His pet’s ears perk up as he watches his enraged master.
The young man remains frozen in his spot and his boss grunts at his lackey’s cowardliness.
The man takes a deep breath, recomposing himself before kneeling down to his pup, giving its ears a shake.
“You know what they say love.” The dog groans at her master. “If you want something done right, blah, blah, blah.” The dog just stares up with no understanding, but with dedicated attention, aware of the power its master possessed.
“Looks like I’ll be paying Miss Y/L/N a visit myself.”
Tired of straight blues, the Yardbirds had roped in tablas and a harpsichord to create the moody “For Your Love” and scored a number-two hit in ’65. Their guitarist Eric Clapton quit in disgust, but they hired young session man Jeff Beck in his place and got even better, with a string of dark, loud, dusky Top 3 hits: “Evil Hearted You,” “Heart Full of Soul,” “Still I’m Sad,” and the apocalyptic, proto-psychedelic “Shapes of Things” in ’66. “My eyes just hurt my brain,” sang Keith Relf, over washes of feedback and drones. It felt like quite a step on from “Little Red Rooster.” Later the same year they released “Happenings Ten Years Time Ago,” by which point Jimmy Page had joined as a second guitarist. It sounded like duelling fighter planes, a three-minute wig-out, but the Yardbirds’ superiority in firepower didn’t help them, and they never managed another hit, eventually calling it a day when Relf quit in ’68. Page carried on with the New Yardbirds, who had morphed intoLed Zeppelin by the end of the year.
