  • Danny: Okay, now. These are called after dinner conversation cards. Let’s try one. [reads] If you were a bird, where would you fly? Claire?
  • Claire: Um, south?
  • Luke: I’d fly to Laser Floyd.
  • Matt: Can I be a monkey?
  • Jessica: If I was a bird, I’d fly into a ceiling fan.

I just want to know how Danny's sweet Christmas hoodie came about (in the actual show) and also i want to personally thank whoever it was who decided to have him wear that on screen

    Agreed! Wow!

This is one of the most beautiful things either of us has ever seen. We have a few thoughts, so we might as well do a little analysis right now. The show is still a long way away, and we’re trying to get out of the habit of looking at/sharing paparazzi photos (which is what these are) because those people are tremendous jerks, but… look at them. We couldn’t resist.

    1. This appears to be a fight scene, but we’re getting a friendly sparring vibe from it– which is something Luke and Danny do from time-to-time in the comics, and is always fun.

    2. These seem to be their actual filming outfits (as opposed to street clothes they might wear while rehearsing), so yes, we can assume Danny’s amazing sweatshirt exists in-universe. The only explanation we can think of is that Luke has started to sell official merchandise, and Danny “Luke Cage Fan Club President” Rand either borrowed one for this outing, or went, “Awesome! I’m gonna buy 80″. Either way… Hero for Hire– if not Heroes for Hire– seems all but guaranteed.
