These are the 10 pieces that I included in my final thesis show. It’s pretty crazy that my college career is over. It all went by faster than I thought. In the end I feel a bit like I’m in limbo now that my schooling is over, and yet I’ve only lived 22 years. I’m not sure where I’ll be next summer, but I do know that I’ll still be illustrating. It is what I know and it is my passion.
Here’s to a new year. I wish all of us newly graduated artists the best in this vast world. Lets support one another. I know we can all make the transition. Stay motivated and find a happiness for yourselves.
I’ll consider this the final until I get a crit in class. I played around with the grass a lot and then decided to just leave it how it was. The only significant change I made after that was Bob’s face and a few additions to Laura.
I still can’t post the whole piece yet, but keep a look out because I’ll be able to very soon! This show will be really cool! If you love video games then you should definitely keep track of this show. There are going to be some really amazing posters dedicated to Bosses from all sorts of video games. I was excited to see that someone had chosen a Boss from Dark Souls. Definitely looking forward to seeing that one.
And hey, if you’re near Glitch Con, then why not go check it out??
This is an illustration I made based off a painting I made a year ago. It’s really cold in my apartment so I was thinking about how nice it would be for it to be Spring. Also I, for whatever reason, decided to make a little white Tiger cat and a Zebra (?) cat.
