NPPA Best of Photojournalism Awards

The National Press Photographers Association announced their 2015 Best of Photojournalism Awards today. Among the winners were Reportage photographer Daniel Berehulak, who received first prize in the portrait series category for his pictures of health workers battling Ebola in Liberia (Above). Daniel was also runner-up for Photojournalist of the Year and 2nd place for Best Published Picture Story (Large Markets).

Other winners from Reportage were Paula Bronstein, who received an honorable mention in the Contemporary Issues (Single) category, and Paolo Marchetti received a 2nd-place prize in the Contemporary Issues Story category. Third place in that category went to Reportage Emerging Talent Corinna Kern.

Time Magazine Picks Instagrams that Defined 2014

From Ukraine to the US-Mexico border, Time Magazine and Instagram looked for images that tell stories of the year’s major events. We’re pleased to see they included images from Reportage photographers Daniel Berehulak and Charles Ommanney, and Getty Images News photographer Brendan Hoffman.
