Ronald “Ra-Ra” Kipling [1/?]
They call me King Ra, hear the fanfare when I enter the cipher, fly girls follow me like I’m the Pied Piper. Proper preparation prevents piss-poor performances, Get Down Brothers’ presentation for your enjoyment.
These two are without a doubt the best dancers on the crew (Or even the whole fleet)
Now the two of them know of each others singing voices; they sing and dance together when they’re alone; this always lifts there spirits and happens usually after long missions and dangerously close disasters.

Summary: Dean is having dreams that are starting to get to him. He decides to go out to a bar to pick someone up so he won’t sleep alone.
Word Count: 1192
Warnings: light smut, drinking
A/N: this was done for @torn-and-frayed Songs of Supernatural Challenge - Season 3. My song was Creedence Clearwater Revival - Run Through the Jungle. Thank you to my amazing betas @thorne93 and @wevegotworktodo!
He’s running again. Always running. It doesn’t look like any forest in America. It looks like a tropical jungle, like what his dad always talked about how it was in Vietnam. He looks over his shoulder, and doesn’t see anything, but he KNOWS that he has to keep running.
Dean wakes with a start. It’s not exactly it’s a nightmare per say, but those dreams always disorientate him. Something always feels wrong when he wakes up, and he can never quite figure out what he’s running from.
The seventh night in a row he has the same dream he decides that he is going to do something about it. Tonight he’s not going to sleep alone.
Quite a pair, Cham Syndulla thought, his daughter and the Jedi. They didn’t “move as one person”, as the romantics sometimes described it; they moved like two people who were close with each other and worked extremely well together.
He had only ever seen them like that, but he knew it had been otherwise.
He remembered getting that call from Hera, her voice and face composed and professional, informing him that a member of her crew had been severely injured and thus their group would be functioning at a reduced level for some time. All warmth had been absent from her, focusing only on the mission, and it had broken his heart because he remembered doing the exact same thing and all the pain that it meant.
He remembered their later talks, when she opened up with how she was losing Kanan, and how helpless he had felt in that situation. His wife had been lost to death, with no chance of getting her back, and he had known it from the moment he saw her topple down. The only advice he could give – grieve and leave the past behind – would not help Hera, would be worse than useless; her partner was still alive.
He remembered when she started describing more triumphs than struggles, when some of the hardness and pain began to fade from her eyes.
The first time they met in person again after almost a year, he barely had time to talk with her; it was all bad news and strategy sessions, and discussions could wait. But he saw that she still had her fire, her drive, her strength, and that was sufficient for the moment.
After Hera’s capture, and before the exchange, he tried to talk with the Jedi about their relationship. He knew that his daughter didn’t need the “protection” of a legal marriage, like in the old days when an unmarried orphaned child might have no claim to their heritage and could easily become destitute. He was still a father though, he cared for and wanted the best for her, and he was also curious. (He was fully prepared to die for her in the next few hours, he was almost beyond caring if he seemed nosy.) Kanan danced around every question, and never gave a straight answer; he was very like the Jedi of old in that respect, if none other.
Once everything was over, and they were all safe… he watched the two. He saw how Kanan smiled more when Hera talked to him, and how Hera’s lekku curled together as she spent time with Kanan. Whatever they were to each other, he decided, they had his blessing.
He still almost spat out his drink when she affectionately grabbed Kanan’s rear as they walked off.
[Announcement]: Actor Dominique Provost-Chalkley and Executive Producer/Showrunner Emily Andras will be joining us at ClexaCon
Born in Bristol, South West England, Dominique began dancing at the age of 4 and after quickly discovering her passion for all performing arts trained in acting, singing and all genres of dance to become as versatile a performer as possible.
At 16 years old Dominique went on to train for 3 years at Laine Theatre Arts and prior to graduating managed to secure a part in the West End’s hit Musical Dirty Dancing where she played the Alternate Baby Houseman at only 19 years old.
Whilst starring in Dirty Dancing Dominique discovered her real passion for straight acting. She then went on to feature in E4’s comedy series The Midnight Beast.
Paul Hyett’s ‘The Seasoning House’ (2013) was Dominique’s first feature film which was a huge success premiering as FrightFest’s opening night movie and making cinema release. Dominique then starred in the West End’s hit musical Viva Forever based on the songs of the Spice Girls.
In 2015, Dominique filmed Marvel’s ‘The Avengers - Age of Ultron’ where she gained invaluable experience.Other TV and film credits include 12 Monkeys, Murdoch Mysteries and Buckout Road. Dominique’s favourite project to date was filming Wynonna Earp in Calgary, Canada - where she played Wynonna’s younger sister Waverly. She is very much looking forward to filming it’s Second Season in Dec 2016.
The Boston-born, Calgary-bred Andras has a diverse list of television credits to her name. Currently, she is the Showrunner and Executive Producer of SyFy’s new hit series Wynonna Earp. Previously, she spent three seasons as the Showrunner and Executive Producer of Lost Girl, and recently worked as the Supervising Producer on Killjoys, where she got to write about spaceships.
Andras’ other recent credits include writer and Co-producer of the police drama King, and Showrunner and Executive Producer of Instant Star. She has written for numerous other series such as Degrassi: The Next Generation , Sophie, Total Drama Island, and 11 Cameras. She was also hand-picked by Nora Roberts to shepherd her New York Times’ #1 best-selling Blood Magick trilogy to series.
Andras is known for her fresh and witty take – CNBC called her “a genre darling” with a “cult following” – and that’s nice. But what Emily really wants to be remembered for is being pulled onstage to dance with Bruce Springsteen. Which totally happened.
30 Rock even has funny credits. An episode ends and, occasionally, we are treated to an extra joke at the expense of Executive Producer Lorne Michaels. These just another testament to how great 30 Rock is.
Season 1 Episode 11 “The Head and the Hair”
Season 3 Episode 2 “Believe in the Stars”
Season 3 Episode 17 “Cutbacks”
(Kenneth is naming the pet birds that Tracy and Jenna bought for him after mistaking him for a murderer)
Season 4 Episode 21 “Emanuelle Goes To Dinosaurland”
Liz is giving a reading at Floyd’s wedding “For he has sold us…”
Season 5 Episode 1 “The Fabian Strategy”
This may not be a direct reference to Lorne Michaels but… Pube Shirt.
Season 5 Episode 14 “Double-Edged Sword”
Season 6 Episode 1 “Dance Like Nobody’s Watching”
Season 6 Episode 13 “Grandmentor”
Jack: “This is a group process, Lemon…”
Season 6 Episode 21 “The Return of Avery Jessup”
It could be argued at that some of these are not direct references to Lorne Michaels. There are a ton that are not included here that could be direct references to Lorne. I used my best judgment.
