The song is just about growing up in England. Like, Americans don’t really smoke roll-ups. Like the hand-rolled cigarettes. And they don’t really booze either when they’re younger. They were really surprised that we were drinking straight vodka at fifteen, but I feel like every 15-year-old buys a little cheap, like, four quid bottle of vodka from Co-op, shares it between all their mates, and throws up at a historical landmark. Like, that’s such an English thing.

A Dairy Queen restaurant in Zion, Illinois, has been shut down, following an incident in which franchise owner Jim Crichton called a biracial customer a racial slur. On Jan. 4, Crichton reportedly called 21-year-old mother Deianeira Ford and her children “n*gger” after Ford asked for a refund after not receiving her full order at the drive-thru window. Read more.
