Why I love Key Club.

Just a couple of months ago, I joined a club… Key Club as you may have already guessed. If you’re unfamiliar with Key Club your first thought may have been, “You joined a club that makes keys?!” Just an FYI, Key Club is definitely not a club that makes keys. Key Club is actually a non-profit organization that has taught people all around how to be selfless, inclusive, caring, and so much more. In a way, Key Club has helped me come out of shell and be myself. In Key Club you do volunteer work and get to meet people from all over the world. Through hard work and dedication you feel the power of actually accomplishing something and making a difference in the world. Whether it be something like collecting money for the poor at school or helping out at the Rose Parade, it feels wonderful to know that you were apart of that. After going to a bazillion events this school year, I’ve been able to make strong friendships with people all over the world. This feeling of being connected to people outside of your school makes the world a happier place. The idea of helping out, learning to be a leader, making strong friendships, learning life lessons, and being yourself is why I love Key Club.
