large bowl or mixer.
Whisk in the sugar and salt.
Add the butter- make sure it’s cold! Break into even pieces and evenly distribute throughout.
milk, vanilla, and egg and stir until just combined. Careful not to overmix your batter, this could make for a tough donut. Use a piping bag or a spoon to fill each doughnut cup
about three-quarters full, making sure the center post is clear.
until doughnuts spring back when touched, 6
to 10 minutes. Let cool slightly before removing from pan.
Melt your candy melts. We used Brown (or plain milk chocolate is fine.) for Grizz, white for Ice Bear, and white and black for Panda. Tip: Melt your candy melts in the microwave in 30 second intervals, and don’t overmix. More detailed candy melt instructions can be seen here!
Make sure your donuts are not hot- then dip into your desired candy melt colors using one swift motion. Dot eyes with black candy melts, and noses. Add ears with m&ms covered in candy melt colors. You can also use a brown m&m cut in half for noses. Let candy melts dry for atleast 20 minutes or until firm to the touch.
