Easy, Tiger!

The days are getting colder and darker in Oslo lately. But at least the afternoons are still sunny and bright. It is good to start practicing the “see the bright side things” so I can keep alive and not depressed during the winter. I know it is gonna be hard for a carioca girl like me. But I will do it!

I think this lovely blue jumper will keep me warm and colorful in the cold days to come. Meanwhile I am in love with it paired with this B/W textured cotton skirt. OK! It is not an example of great couture (it is from department stores) but it was totally unexpensive and looks great. I think pencil skirts can look great on girls like me wit more volume on the hips. It can make a classy look for sure.

After picking those two beauties, all I could think about was pairing them with bright shoes and bold earings - plus a neutral and classic bag.

Shining bright like a diamond.

Wore a Morticia Addams-ish long black dress with lace overlay at the top. Dress is from local store Mlle Paris. Had the hair set in old school waves at the front..there is a name for this but I forget. Accessorised with this gorgeous necklace and a faux fur stole.

So I was in my closet yesterday and noticed I had a jacket quite similar to Mindy Kaling and Mindy lahiri. So I said what the hey, why not try to create a similar look, here is what I came up with! xx

What I wore:

Black and White Print jacket from Ashley Stewart

Peplum Dress from Taylor Dresses

Necklace a gift from a friend

Dear Diary

I am determined to make my terrible winter brighter until the spring decides to come! And since a lot of my followers feel my winter blues im sure they can agree with me as well lol

I absolutely LOVE the swing dress trend but unfortunately for the curvy girls it can be a bit tricky to pull off simply because it is cut very short and with a big butt it makes it a lot shorter. The perfect solution to what could be a major problem would be to wear tights under neath to elongate the dress. Which is what I did here.

I’m wearing a Neon Orange long sleeve dress from Boohoo in a size 14, it’s made of a very soft cotton but it is on the thin side. I paired it with navy blue tights to give some sort of contrast to the Orange, wore navy blue pumps with a silver cap toe purchased from target two years ago and a multicolor statement necklace purchased from wal mart. I’d say I’ve Brightened up this dull winter day.

As always Love and embrace your curves
