After seeing all the body shaming comments on Twitter this evening about the Our Perfect Wedding episode, it was very clear to see that people associate beauty with a certain mound that we all need to fit into.
We are also so quick to see flaws and give judgement even when unnecessary as opposed to looking for and highlighting the positives… Live and let live, real beauty is beyond skin deep #CurveLoving #NoToBodyShaming #YesToBeingDifferent
I’m not much of a “formal wear” kind of girl as I find it can be quite drab. I prefer to CHIC up my casual wear and make it work appropriate, and this Vivid Peplum Dress from City Chic Sandton is just up my alley
The classy peplum style give this dress the right kind of sophistication for work while the splash of colour adds the fun. You can’t help but feel amazing in this number.
The front of the dress has a peek-a-boo mesh overlay that simply oozes the right kind of sexy for any work environment.
The dress is found under the “Miss Attitude” Range and there is no denying that it fits the bill, bringing the right kind of attitude to “formal” yet timeless style.
I have always heard that wearing white makes you look fat, so in efforts to always look smaller/slimmer than I am I have spent most of my life depriving myself of the joy of colour by wearing dark shades.
Slowly I started venturing out into the wonderful world of colour and even the NO GO white.
I have learnt that like all things in life it’s not what you do but HOW you do it…
The moment you realize what works on your body you can start experimenting with similar garments in different shades, I started with Skinnies, I love Skinny Jeans and Leggings, so slowly I transitioned from black, to blues, beige the eventually white. DARE I say I LOVE IT!
Today I decided to go all the way and wear a full on white on white outfit. Felt very Bold, sexy and summery. Try it for your self
Decided to show some skin and go for a swim. Paired my swim suit with a flared crop just to add a lil something something…
First time in years that I have gone out in just my swimwear felt a little like a fish out of water but it’s amazing how when you walk confidently that’s all people around you see… a confident curvy girl that they are simply drawn to.
