You inspire hundreds every day. Your words make people dream and give them hope of something better.
You are one of the most amazing people I know, not because of your looks, or what you do, but because of your kind-hearted soul, your uplifting words and your beautiful heart.
Please, do not listen to hate. I know that sometimes it is the strongest of people who fall, but please, do not crash. Please, lift yourself up and keep going. Keep walking on with your head held high.
Life is better with you in it.
Listen to the thousands of people who adore you and everything you do. Listen to the words of hope you give everyone else and how much better their lives are now that they know you and hear your words of inspiration.
Please, just know that you are respected, adored, and most of all, loved.
So basically, this year has been one of the craziest years of my life. I’ve met more people, had more fun, and spent more time online than ever before. And I wouldn’t trade a second of it for anything! Because along with all of the drama and the late nights and the not sleeping for an entire week because Darren was on a media rampage and also being a desert warrior while filming prom and the crazy hiatus au’s and glee live and SPACE tour and every crazy moment inbetween, I met some of the greatest people in the world.
Whether you’ve been there since I first joined the fandom or whether we just met last week or yesterday, I’m so thankful for you because you’re the ones who made this year incredible. Darren Criss and Chris Colfer and the rest of the Glee cast and the Starkids might have contributed, but there’s no way it would have been half as insane or half as incredible without every single one of you. I love you all dearly, I hope you have amazing holidays and the best new year’s ever, and above all I hope that 2012 brings you all the joys life contains and more.
You all deserve all of the happiness in the world.
I have concluded also, that Curt Mega is fucking deep man.
Whenever he blogs or tweets, I feel as if he is Rafiki and I am Simba, he is full of wisdom and truth and I’m still fumbling behind attempting to comprehend everything he says fully, because it’s actually really meaningful and beautiful.
It angers me to no end how TV Guide, or any tabloid sites, pick out a random person/actor they know nothing about and take things WAY out of context!
Curt, you’re so much better than probably half the people on that team who voted Uptown Girl in that position. Your acting/facial expressions is/are NOT over-animated, you’re NOT a random Warbler, and you DID deserve the spotlight. Just remember, we loved the performace but best of all…. Billy Joel liked it and it was HIS song, which he posted on his facebook. Obviously this wasn’t the worst cover or tv moment of 2011 :)
It’s our [the fans] turn to help cheer you up and give you the same love in return you show/tweet at us daily. We’re a strong fanbase that does not take kindly to talking down on any actor in the show who didn’t deserve that like yourself. You matter to all of us, we’re not going anywhere! Like you once said,
“Social media is a powerful tool. Let’s use it to build people up and not tear others down.”
noted 12/15/11: the “us” is supposed to NOT be US as in United States, I meant as WE the fans but my ’s’ is just as big as my ‘u.’ Sometimes my writing does that, so I’m sorry if I made anyone feel left out! I did this after 3am my time so I was kind of sleepy lol
