2015 Women’s World Tour Rankings

#8 | Johanne Defay

There are 1001 reasons why I absolutely love Johanne Defay…
But well, this season she continued to blow me away. She won her first CT event, the US Open Of Surfing! I was so stoked for her. She deserves it, and yet, she’s still without a major sponsor. Why??
Last year she finished 8th as well, and that mark is hers to beat as this is the best ever spot achieved by a french woman in surfing.
I really hope I continue to see Johanne climbing on the rankings chart next year.

#24 - Adam Melling

Adam is the type of guy that has the type of surfing that could allow him to be top 10 in the world but always struggles in competition, specially when it comes to a CT event. He always re-qualifies through the QS.

This year was another struggling year for Melling and his highlight was in Portugal where he reached the quarters.

#9 - Josh Kerr

With the same amount of points as Taj Burrow, Josh Kerr comes in number 9 after finishing the year with a 3rd place at Pipeline.

The so called, most underrated surfer on tour, was close to win his first ever CT event in Margaret River but fell short to Michel Bourez. Since there, his scores were shitty. It wasn’t until the Quiksilver Pro France that Kerrzy started to show what he’s made of.

I hope next year Josh wins an event. He deserves it so bad.
